I would absolutely loved a season where Arthur and Merlin fall out over Merlin's magic. Arthur refusing Merlin's help but Merlin is there for him in battle. then the next season they start becoming friends again. fighting side by side. regaining each other trust. There was so much more stories to be told before Arthur's death.
I think that I would have preferred that they did this in the show instead of waiting until the last season, the last episode to reveal Merlin's magic.
