Thank you for this, and for trying to help people!!!!! My wife found some videos on seed oils a few months ago. I quit eating chips, and other things with seed oils. I thought I was doing something healthy by eating salads every night. Then I realized all the dressings were 90% seed oils. Couldn't understand why I didn't lose any weight??? I cut out the seed oils, and I've lost 20 pounds in 2 months!!!! And I thought I was already thin??? I was 5-11" and 168 lbs, and went to 148 lbs just cutting out seed oil foods. I was in shock because I thought I was thin already!!!! But weight is not the most important thing, I can't imagine what those toxic oils were doing to my health overall??? My sleep is better, I have tons of energy, and feel like my brain is firing twice as fast. I'm just at the beginning of my no seed oil journey, and I can't wait to see where it takes me!! I eat tons of cheese, and cook everything in butter mostly, some olive oil, and lard. and I keep losing weight. And I eat a ton of whole wheat bread, and pasta. This is insane. Everything everyone says about health should be questioned. You just need to experiment for yourself. But I agree with this video. STAY AWAY FROM SEED OILS.
I switched to beef tallow about 4 months ago. I cut out a lot of fast food. I also cut back tremendously on processed sugar. I noticed my knee pains stopped. Three days ago I ate some fried chicken (a lot) and the next day, I noticed my knee pain come back. I asked my father-in-law, who lives with me if he noticed his “arthritis” pain. He said yes, he felt the tightness in his hand. I knew then that consumption of this oil was causing our inflammation. Fried food is NOT the problem. I make French fries at home and other fried foods every once in a while but I use beef tallow and I feel no pain. It is the oils. Most restaurants are using the cheapest processed oil.
And to answer your question you asked at the end, I am reminded of my favorite quote by Napoleon: "never ascribe to malice what is best explained by incompetence." Personally, I think the combination of incompetence and greed-enabled blindness has made this all happen.
Ignorance can turn the nicest person into a monster. LIke the guy who suffered a heart attack and then went on recommending the exact products, which caused him the heart attack, out of ignorance and misguiding sources of information.
Exactly. We need to analyze the entirety of evidence for any topic before we start making recommendations to others. It's sad that he had such a role in getting so many food companies to switch from something healthy to something so unhealthy
I remember when McDonald switched the cooking oil for french fries. Like all the idiots in my generation, I thought it was a victory for the consumers. Luckily, I didn't eat much fast food over the years.
6 years ago I had a heart attack! I had used rapeseed oil to cook meat in thinking it was a heart healthy vegetable oil. I haven't used any seed oils for past 3 years. I use ghee, olive oil and avocado oil. I read every food label so won't buy any processed foods with seed oils. I make my own mayonnaise. I use Irish butter. I've given up buying white supermarket bread And cakes and biscuits etc. As a treat I buy sourdough bread made by a small local bakery but on the whole I've cut back on that too. Haven't had indigestion in years having suffered from it in years. I could never work out what caused it. Now I know. Processed foods with seed oils and other non kitchen additives. I can't understand why the medical world and our own government have not acted.
That's why i avoid seed/vegetable oils, i personally prefer either olive oil or lard, both are quite good, especially for savory foods, and if you need an oil for something sweet use the coconut oil.

I worked for a machinery company that often did business with a Crisco plant. That plant was such a foul-smelling, disgusting place. Once that oil "dried" it was like glue, and very difficult to clean from our machinery. To think that people consume tons of this vile substance -- _and think they are eating healthy_ -- is mind-boggling.
I think we got them late in Oz: When I was in my late teens, I went into a supermarket and saw all these bottles of oil lined up on the shelf, "where did they come from" I thought. It was the late sixties and it wasn't long after that, I noticed a young woman walking in front of me with her tee shirt resting on her hips and wondered how could she let herself get like that. She wasn't fat by today's standards of course.

According to dr.sten ekberg avocado oil also goes through a harsh refinement process. And the only real safe oils for cooking are ghee, butter, talo, and olive. What do you think about this? I have always believed that avocado oil was safe but now he has me thinking.
You probably shouldn't go out and buy avocado oils, but instead the oils you mentioned (+coconut). But if we're talking about avocado vs. seed oils there is still no comparison.
We the consumers could put the processed food industries out of business. But it’s likely we won’t. They know it’ll never happen. We keep trudging toward extinction because of greed and stupidity.

@Zed Love lol
Makes sense. Fried food is only as good/bad as the oil and flour or batter used.
Glad to know stuff I learned 8years ago is finally getting noticed by more people
And to answer your question you asked at the end, I am reminded of my favorite quote by Napoleon: "never ascribe to malice what is best explained by incompetence." Personally, I think the combination of incompetence and greed-enabled blindness has made this all happen.
What are you talking about? Capitalism is good lol
Your video deserves more views tbh, thank you for the detailed video
I DEMAND FAST FOOD JOINTS USE SATURATED FAT AGAIN!
Wow...new subscriber. If Dr. Berry is following you then I'm all in !
I know that's what I've been doing for the most part cooking at home with either olive, avocado oil or good quality butter. Haven't tried coconut oil yet though I do have some now
World Health Organization should be influenced on proper nutrition
The billionaire corporations have been influencing the WHO already for many years...
World hoax organization
They are owned by Big Pharma
This is an excellent and comprehensive description! I just subscribed. I'm sending the link to several friends and family members.
Both! Malice started it, but now incompetence drives it.
Lovely video. I wish I found it 3 years sooner!
This needs to spread like wildfire
3:23 It's glyphosate (not glyphosphate), which is Roundup, which an herbicide not a pesticide. Good video btw, I'm just pointing out the errors so nobody can poke holes in it.
Herbicide is a pesticide. Weeds are in the pest category. Pesticide is the umbrella term for chemicals used to fight off insects, weeds and fungal disease.
Thank you for this excellent and incredibly informative video. I love the narrator's voice - he reminds me of the podcaster Lex Freidman. Is it him?
(very soothing & relaxing while hearing such horrific truths about seed/bean oils).
Never attribute to malice, what can be best attributed to incompetence.
Thank you for bringing more transparency to the danger of seed oils
I am a couple years behind brother, but this is a great bit of information. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! Great video! Thank You :)
Great video!
It's all driven by profit and has become the default over all these decades, sadly.
I'm going to be sharing this with my entire family.
Thanks so much. Capitalism is great, but not when it is based on lies and deception. The more people know about these oils, the less they will buy them
@@analyze.and.optimize You could say the communists were more honest about their outright desire to kill people.
The informed consumer is necessary for a fair economy like the informed voter is necessary for a fair election.
@@analyze.and.optimize capitalism literally kills
I know that this shouldn’t surprise me because corruption has been around for years, but man the organization that’s suppose to help us internally hurting us because of money. Money can’t save your soul, eventually it all comes back to you.
This channel is gold.
It’s so sad to see our young kids obese and sick. Their parents are the same and they were brought up by many of us who fed them this food. Young parents and kids have no clue how to really eat. And the food conglomerates have them in complete control.
I have loved this video since it first came out and am enjoying it again now. This is the most important information on the internet relating to nutrition. I cannot emphasize enough how this information changed my life.. Seed oils had been poisoning me until by age 65 I was loosing my strength and suffering arthritis and joint pain.
Vitamins A,K and D3 are essential fat soluble vitamins that cannot be picked up into your bloodstream without saturated fats in your diet. Pass this information along wherever possible. Will the FDA ever take on an honest caring approach for the American and world populations?
No....
it's sad and alarming to realise and accept that...
the FDA won't take on anything that doesn't generate profit .....

Great job! Very informative and entertaining.
Thanks so much
I love your content! Super helpful!🙌 Thank you.
*Very informative..! Keep up the good work..!* 👍🏼
Some guy on Taleb's twitter feed led me here.
Following Taleb always leads to knowledge
they even supplied restaurants with free oil to showcase how fast and convenient it was to use and easier to handle.
That's crazy when she said that the uniforms that had the oils on them would spontaneously combust and explode in the dryers....
It's neither incompetence OR malice - it's greed.
great video, best of luck for your growth
Really appreciate it
Excellent video and information! I subscribed today and look forward to any new videos you post. Thank you!
Thank you for an informative history! I'm using it in my college course to help students understand FAT!
This is the second time i've seen this video. Thanks for putting it together.
Wow this is such an informative video! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for making this informative video. It was very well done.
Well spoken A. Cheers Mike
Just pay attention to ingredients! They put it in EVERYTHING these days...
Yesterday I wanted to buy some chips for the housewarming party and started to see the labels on the packages and literally every package had ingredient as vegetable oil 😟 like I didn’t want to buy these and I start to hesitate even to eat out in the restaurant’s. Cus they for sure use these poison oils to make ther food. Although I don’t eat often outside. This is crazy how the creed and money for the big companies are everything, they don’t care about your health. Literally don’t give a damn ass . Sick people are good for big pharmacy also.
Great video, but you do your viewers a great disservice when you suggest Olive oil and avocado oil, because 80% of these oils are fake, compromised, or mostly canola oil. Just cook everything in butter, ghee or beef tallow to be safe. And good luck finding a restaurant that doesn't use trash oils.
I remember that I quit eating all that other stuff I eat my saturated fat my blood pressure went down I quit eating sugar processed foods and my sugar went down thank you for this information so I can show other people I think I'm crazy
Great video, keep them coming!
Really appreciate the support
Nice short video explaining it clearly. I stopped using them during covid and within a couple of weeks I was losing weight and breathing much easilier. I think they are as bad as tobacco personally.
Amazing info mate props!!
They didn't sell the soap as a cooking fat. Soap is made from oil or fat and an alkali solution, such as lye. It is inedible.
Man becomes his number one enemy
I find it funny that I got a Valvoline ad on this video.
Great video bro. Subscribed
All oils that are raffinated are bad. If u raffinate coconut oil or olive oil its also bad. If u cold press sunflower oil u get a super healthy oil.
Seed? I thought all vegetables together make oil. My life was a lie
Excellent video!!
Subscribed! smarrt!!
Incompetence or Malice? Neither, it's always profit at your own expense.
I know all this for 5 years. Its alarming how many doctors and health influencers claim there is nothing bad with oil. Pure business and money making.
Those uniforms are now made from polyester. I wonder if it was cotton that exploded. Polyester is another byproduct of oil production.
Good insight. It probably was
According to dr.sten ekberg avocado oil also goes through a harsh refinement process.
Great video, thank You.
Happy to help
We the consumers could put the processed food industries out of business. But it’s likely we won’t. They know it’ll never happen. We keep trudging toward extinction because of greed and stupidity.
Learning this knowledge has taught me you don't wait to be told anything. You go and learn it for yourself. The general public are complete morons who will believe anything they are told.
if you look very deep into the variables it is mucked up with stuff like some culture groups and genetics being more at some risks than other for some stuff in a moment of clarity and then it dumps you down into a pit of unownable separation between genetics and epigenetics. The advice to take is one from like 50 years from now.
10:48 don’t forget red palm oil
So...Red palme oil is good as opposed to regular palm oil or are all palm oils good?
@@unestarinconnuejr Yup, plenty of info on it that you can look up.
Wonderfull information 👍
Malice for sure!
Incompetence or malice? DEFINITELY MALICE! What part of "They want to kill us." don't you understand?
THANK YOU SO MUCH
It can only be malice.
Thanks for the video.
Glyphosate isn't a pesticide. Its an herbicide and pretty good too.
10:40 How about palm oil? Is it considered safe plant oil?
Seems to be fine; definitely leaps and bounds ahead of any seed oil. However, we need to do more research into the topic to give a more definitive answer. We will eventually produce a video on it, so stay posted
@@analyze.and.optimize Thank you! In Southeast Asia palm oil is a staple part of our diet. Definitely would be interested to dive deeper into the health aspect of it.
Easy. Is it natural?
You forgot grapeseed oil in the list of processed oils.
There isn’t a lot of information about Palm oil but it appears to be safe and unprocessed just like coconut oil. Palm oil
Has been discredited by certain parties as palm tree plantations in SE asia are bad from an environmental perspective (no different than a large solar farm or any mono-culture farm).
However, since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in Early 2022, palm oil exports from Indonesia have been banned to address food inflation.
Plantain chips from Peru I used to occasionally buy from my dollar store as recently as a few months ago used Palm oil and was one of the few products I’ve seen made using Palm oil.
I just checked and they are now made with “high oleic sunflower oil”, presumably as Indonesian exports have dried up.
If you've never cooked with lard, you'd be really surprised how easy it is to clean afterwards.
So true. I noticed vegetable oil really smells bad for hours after cooking. Once I switched to lard so much nicer on the nose. Animal fat is where it's at. To your health.
