I hate black cars, they are always dirty looking and because black absorbs light, you can't see the bodylines and details of the car properly. I am also not a fan of most red interiors. Bright red interiors represent Las Vegas tacky, not luxury to me. So, as you can see, colors are subjective. The red in this video is OK, but I certainly wouldn't order it that way.
Works for me. I've never bought a new car in my life and I doubt I ever will. I paid $5k for my beautiful 4Matic S-class that the original owner paid over $100k for. It's the only way to own these cars, unless you're a multi-millionaire.
already bought a 2020 (in 2024) for $48000. and is a black amg 43 with side steps and all the packages. wife pretty happy for her upgrade from a 2019 Q5 which we paid 45k four years ago
@@chuckkerber4735 Your Lexus has a good reliability rating, a little better than the 2020 GLC but, the GLC does get an above average reliability rating from J.D. Power. I know a lot of people who drive a Mercedes and they are quite happy with them. We've never owned one personally.
@@chuckkerber4735 I just wanted to add one more thing. We had a BMW 740i and it gave us a lot of trouble. We ended up switching to an X5 which was so reliable for us and I really had a different perspective from one vehicle to the next, same brand though.

I ve been paying insurance higher but I am satisfied with my used g43 , i am so happy for all and Mercedes is the best , must say again Mercedes Benz is best of all in the world. God it's the best of the best when you're on freeways long trip woooooo , it's so much smooth and enjoying music sound is so clearly bass, treble ect.... Love it , Mercedes is after Mercedes in my life and you never want to 12:21 come what kind of cars you got before.
In my opinion, if you’re looking at a glc43, you might as well go for a 63. The difference is night and day, plus it’s not even that much more expensive. A newer model 43 costs as much as a low mileage 63, to me it’s a no brainer.
Great review. I recently ordered a base 43 with red seat belts/Bi-color 20" wheels and Graphite paint. The dealership didn't mind, in fact the Sales Manager was dissing some of the pricey options found in the Premium package. Packages are expensive on these AMG's but Por$che has them beat in that category, I once built a MAcan S online to over $150,000!

I own one. Believe me, MB does differentiate the cost of servicing. The cost of replacing brakes is much high higher! The cost of buying the pre-paid service packages is much higher for the AMG versions. I like the vehicle and found the only negative is blowing through rear pads at only 20,000 to 25,000kms. The fronts lasted to 60,000km but were $1,600 (cdn) to replace (with rotors). My suggestion is to avoid the dealership unless it is a warranty item.

Andrea won the moonroof battle on this drive but she had to tolerate a bit of spicy banter from Zack. Another fun review. I really like the GLC 43 especially with this exterior spec, but that price tag game me a nosebleed.

The Baby AMG’s feel more special and closer to their bigger brothers than the Baby M Cars feel to the real M’s. I think, IMHO that they are in the GLC’s case. Outside of the motor and version of the trans.
Impressive review for an impressive SUV. I have never liked Carbon Fibre interior accents - on any car. I like wood. And so does my Wife. But otherwise, I like this new Benz. As far as AMG and “M” credibility.... thats what Brabus and Alpina/Dinan are for these days. They still turn heads! Thanks for another video, Guys.
I have this car (same color package) & I really like it. In addition to what you mentioned in the video mine has adaptive high beam assist, distronic plus w/ steering assist, lane keep assist, and park assist (not sure if these are included in one of those packages). I have let the car drive a few times but I get scared lol! I’ve never used the park assist but I might try it one day 🤷🏽♀️.

Mercedes is all about the options. You buy the car and then for the same price of the car, you get all the options. I recently bought a new GLE 450. I custom ordered it (took 4 months to get it!). The base gle is $54,000. Then with upgrades and options price went up $27,000.
Just watched your review. I own a 2022 Macan GTS. You are incorrect in stating that the Mercedes AMG GLC 43 has more horsepower than the Macan GTS which actually has 434 horsepower.

You didn’t mention the sport plus setting. It makes driving at normal speeds almost impossible. That and the interior is now noticeably behind the A class in quality, looks and ease of use.
If you put on sport plus it’s purpose to to mat the gas pedal and drive it like you stole it. It’s built for that. The performance exhaust does not drone unless you are in sport + and you have the valve open, even then the drone is the good kind where you hear it’s basso purring. This is the best exhaust on any German compact suv period…save for the stelvio, that one is fantastic.
@@TheLumberJacked I moved on to Audi Q8 after the the GLC 43 and now to Tesla. There's no going back to ICE for my daily driver. Actually there's no going to any other manufacturer than Tesla going forward. So much better customer experience pre and post sale. Not to mention that I can out perform every car I've ever owned before.

I'm glad I owned an AMG when they were real AMGs, now they don't interest me anymore; my father had a 500E back in the day, that was special. That being said one AMG was enough for me and never again, honestly not worth it and the loss in rid comfort not worth it either. Buy a sports car for when you want a sports car and buy a luxury car for when you want a luxury car but don't mix them together. I actually saw my old S55 AMG at the dealership the other day, still looks great and mean, didn't think it was still around, kind of want it back. LMAO at Andrea, she's a good sport. 😂

Yes I think I would take it over the wagon. I didn't like the c-43 wagon suspension, it was too rough for my taste

Was thinking the same thing. Designed as an afterthought. I suppose it might be easier to replace though, when it fails in 5 years.

I'm glad I owned an AMG when they were real AMGs, now they don't interest me anymore; my father had a 500E back in the day, that was special. That being said one AMG was enough for me and never again, honestly not worth it and the loss in rid comfort not worth it either. Buy a sports car for when you want a sports car and buy a luxury car for when you want a luxury car but don't mix them together. I actually saw my old S55 AMG at the dealership the other day, still looks great and mean, didn't think it was still around, kind of want it back. LMAO at Andrea, she's a good sport. 😂

Both your reasons are the same. Hate to break it to you but luxury brands are expensive. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Jaguar, Lexus, etc. Look at Rolls Royce and Bentley if you think Mercedes is expensive though. $400,000 for a vehicle? In their dreams. And Bugatti's prices are even more eye watering.
