I was a maintenance technician 10yrs ago, cleaning an apartment sweet for new clients. This song was playing on the radio while I was vacuuming, and dusting the apartment for veiwings. I fell in love.. I pretended the place was mine while cleaning it, as this song was playing. Made it my goal to earn a place like this for myself when I grow up. I was 16 at the time. I fell in love with this
Now I have a 3 bedroom house with a great sound system playing this song as I write this. I love this music so much. It's a great background remedy to tasks you accomplish around the house.

Did u ever get a place
Back in 2009, I was at the marina cleaning my boat. After finishing-up, I walked over to the restaurant next door and had a beer. As I was siting there, I heard this tune. Thanks to the bartender (or whomever) for putting together a playlist with this song. Fortunately, Shazam had just recently been released... and I used the app... probably for the first time! Perfect fit... relaxing at the bar and looking out at the lake sipping on a cold one. Sunny day. Knowing the title of the track, I bought the CD -- and I have been enjoying "Under The Sea" for the past 15 years. What a wonderful gift. Thank-you Mr. Jones!

I heard this song for the first time when I was still a teenager and since then it has been part of my life (I am now 33 years old). In those moments when I feel lost, I put it on and come back to my place. When I remember what it is I want so badly, I play it, and I'm back in action. It's just part of my everyday life. It transports me to something that makes me happy and defines me, and I don't know how I have not yet expressed this to its creator: THANK YOU for making it possible. It is simply sublime

One of my favorite tracks! Found it looong time ago on that Cafe Del Mar album. Once I had a road trip driving over 5 hours with that song looping the whole time :) Crazy times

I remember when my dad showed me this track on a cafe Del Mar album when I was around 8 years old. I’m 16 now and this is the song that got me into bands like Zero 7, Morcheeba, Eastern Sun, CFCF, Air, Cantoma, and so many more! This is the one that started it all; my life wouldn’t be the same without this music.

I heard this song today at the parking of a Supermarket. I was pretty sure that it was a song that I didn't know from the French band called "Air". I opened the Sound Hound app and here I am now. I am pretty sure you have been influenced from their album "Moon safari" 1998. Their sound is well known.

As an ex-diver for 30+ years (heart stopped play), this track has an intriguing title for anyone with subaquatic tendencies. I have most of the Cafe del Mar albums and it's also on their "Volume Once" CD. And while adding this to a playlist for our forthcoming wedding, I find myself hitting the Back button and playing it over and over again..! Do you have any Jazz-Funk albums out that are not mentioned on your Wikipedia listing (It's a sure sign of fame, when you generate one of those) - if so, many others besides myself would buy a whole collection of these addictive earworms..!

Amazing track. The first time I listened was on Cafe Del Mar Vol 11. It was 2004 and this song always will remember me the trip to Cabo Verde and the beginning with my wife. Since then, I follow you and have a lot of your music. The last... Balearic Sun. Great!

Awesome track, I heard this a an hour ago on Groove Salad/SomaFM which I've been chilling to as I work or relax for probably a year now and it's been introducing me to lots of stuff I like .
I'm beginning to notice a trend, everything that causes me to Google the song turns out to be approximately 20 yrs old which makes sense to me, I assume it's new because I never heard it and they almost never are "new".
Sadly these days great music like this tune are probably not being produced anymore with all the younger producers constantly trying to focus on the "drop"!
Hopefully this finds you still working on jazzy, soul filled grooves dude !
Sounds a lot like the Fender Rhodes and some electric pianos on my Fantom and JV880 and 1080 synths, with a bit of my JP8000 square waves here and there along with the strings - slowed down loop sounding like my old MPC60 gritty bit rate or rack mount S2000 very beautiful tune brah!
