For sure this is one of the most interesting Speedys out there. I love the contrast of the orange second hand with the dial and the Ultraman on the dial. Very nice but also very expensive nowadays.

Great video and such a beautiful watch! I love the orange accents, very cool. By the way, I can't understand one thing. I remember you didn't get the Tudor BB GMT because it was too big (41mm) and too thick (14'8 mm) for your wrist. The Omega is 42mm in diameter and 14'6 thickness. I own both watches ( the Omega is the traditional Moon Watch hesalite crystal) and when I wear them ,the Omega even seems bigger because of the dial. I don't understand why many complain about the diameter and thickness of the Tudor GMT and they never make the Omega and I include the Planet Ocean that is even bigger. I find it a bit strange.

This is literally my grail watch. I grew up with Ultraman, I own a lot of memorabilia, I’ve recently acquired an Ultraman NFT and one day I will own this watch and all of its accessories. Thanks for featuring this piece. The clips brought back lots of after school memories.
It's a very cool piece, some find it gimmicky but it all depends if you get the nostalgia 👍

Great video and thanks for explaining the origins of Speedy Tuesday. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the original Mk I Ultraman Speedy with the caliber 321 came out in 1967 and not 1968.
Quality video as always. I like the Ultraman, but I still prefer my own watch, the regular Dark Side of the Moon. (We all want to say to ourselves, that our own watch is the one ;)
But having a clasp is something I really prefer, I want that for all my future watches.
I love this watch. I would have thought Seiko would be all over this Ultraman theme. Oh, I also loved Ultraman as a kid.

You bastard, mesmerised by the beauty of your video of this watch I thought okay I'll trade in my Planet Ocean and throw a few hundred and get an Ultraman. Not a fucking chance, £9500. Absolutely gutted Max, that reissue is amazing and has got its claws in me. I'm a huge admirer of the South African rugby team, a side consisting of mostly black players who fought through abject poverty to become the greatest rugby team on earth so a green and gold Speedy Tuesday would look amazing.

The Speedmaster for me is the best modern Omega worth owning. I am not a fan of most Omega modern watches. I think they look garish to the point of cringe and their obsession with trying to rival or beat Rolex is annoying to a point where I feel they lost themselves in the process. All I see are constant recolors of SMPs, PO or Aqua Terras. Their most boring and safe watches that are everywhere in their catalogue desperate to write anywhere they can the cool marketing words they have. "METAS BRO!", "CERAMIC FACE BRO!", "X and Y MATERIAL HERE BRO!"
Meanwhile this Ultraman Speedmaster looks so cool and has the exact amount of bling or design element, where it needs to be without going out of its way. This is why for me, the Speedmaster - the original design and some of its variations, not the 14125136 recolored and stupid remixed versions, is the last flame of what Omega was before we got to where we are right now.
I agree. And Omega hates money by making this a super limited edition.
