Welcome to Sweden, good house!👏👍🙏🇸🇪
@@jonasmagnusson2099 Tack!! 🙂
Guys, you made the right decision and we are so happy for you that your dream came true! ❤️✨ Lots of people should learn from you! 😍
Bedankt!!😊😊
What a lovely story - so pleased you have found a dream location for your family
Hello! lovely farm you bought, congratulations! I think your children will have a fantastic upbringing there. my father was born in a village called Natavaara. spent the summers and Easter there and have only fond memories of that time. welcome to Sweden and Lapland. //Anders
@@anderslarsson8950 Tack så mycket! Yes, I can't think of a better place to grow up then (north) Sweden! Incredible surroundings, super friendly people and amazing fresh and clean air. We feel so lucky to be here!
An actual, real life barn find! How cool is that?? There are a lot of enthusiasts in Sweden for these old machines, so if you ever think of getting it running there will be a lot of help available. And a whole heap of youtube content! :)
@@Sephyricon We definitely want if running some day, we love it! So thanks for the tip!!
Welcome to sweden❤ Hope you come to love our nice woods and nature as the rest of us nature peopel here in this avlånga land😊
Avlång (long and smal) new word for you👍
Tack så mycket!! Avlång :) we love everything about it - so far.
I would suggest you do bergvärme instead of jordvärme. It's not that much more expensive but more efficient, and you don't have to have a large piece of land that you can't use for certain things. Also you can get uneven ground where the pipe is. I just switched from jordvärme to bergvärme to get rid of these problems.. But talk to an expert first.
@@erik.... Thanks for the tip! We have a lot of land we don't use, so I think jordvärme will be ok, but we will definitely look into it!
That's a good bit of land!
Good luck with the nice house
@@bjornjonsson7061 Thank you!
Nou, Welkom naar Zweden, jongens! Och stort grattis till ert nya hem. Heel gezellig!!! 🎉
@@pleaseusernamework Tack så mycket!! 🙂
@@EricNatureMovies Det var så lite. Hoppas ni trivs. Jag köpte också nyligen en stuga, i Roslagen, för att ha under sommaren. We’ll see if it’ll turn into permanent living.
Succes! 😀
Ook gefeliciteerd dan met de stuga! 😊 Woon je al in Zweden? Of vanuit Nederland gekocht?
I bought a home over the fax machine in 2004, and still there!
@@hermitlifeinthemountainsub9493 so cool! ☺️
Hoi.

Very nice!
Wauw!!!
Hi again. From where do you get your water? Where do you buy food and other stuff? A lot of questions i know.
No problem, ask us anything!😊
Our water comes from the pipes from the kommun. The nearest town with shops is about an hour drive. So we go to the shops once a week, and hope we don't forget anything 😅
Hi. Nice video. I wonder, how much land do you have? Greetings from Stockholm.
@@larslars235 hej Lars! Tack!
We have 24000m2 land. Sorry, forgot to mention in the video!
Many thanks for this great overview. Could you share the website you found this offer? Maybe there are still some good deals there? Is it a lot of bureaucracy with the property transfer?
@@mameleiro5127
Ofcourse! The website is www.hemnet.se
It's the biggest website in Sweden for house sales, so there are a lot of nice houses on it!
The bureaucracy is not that bad. The real estate agent takes care of a lot of things.
Se ut att behövas målas 10:38 takplåten börjar se rostiga ut. Nr 1 prio. 😊
Yes, it needs a paint job! So I have started with the fönster, because they are the worst. Will try to do them all this sommer, and when I have some time left, I start with the rest of the house!😊
@@EricNatureMovies Speaking of windows, you may want to consider changing to three pane windows in the future. It lets through a lot less heat which increase temperature in the winter and save you on energy. My mom lives a lot further down in Sweden and her house was quite cold in the winters, but after she changed windows you could suddenly walk around in t-shirts at home even when it was -20 outside.
I figure you will see for yourself the upcoming winter how tolerable the temperature is.
@@KamiKaZantA thanks for the tip! I will certainly look into it!
@@EricNatureMovies See for yourself how this coming winter will be for you and your family first. It can be quite expensive to change windows but it's something to keep in mind. Best of luck to your family and you!
🤲
Law of attraction ❤
You have two saunas? 😂
Nice!
Yes! One inside and one outside, with a fire stove. That one is nice for a snow dive / cold plunge after, in the winter..
the horses are yours?
@@maravedi09 they are the neighbours horses, but they are on our land. We love to have those horses around!
How do you make a living? Do you have remote jobs?
@@lilly6766 right now we don't have jobs. We sold our house in the Netherlands for a good price and can afford to take a year off. That way we can focus on learning the language and working on the house.
By the time we want to work, we know at the moment there is a lot of work in the mines (here in the North).
@@EricNatureMovies Contact the companies you are interested in now. Partly to see if there are any skills you need to supplement or they can give you an offer you didn't think of, e.g. work one day a week or language course etc. The companies are really in need of staff
@@Pelle805 thanks for the tip. I was thinking the same thing. Would not hurt to ask around a little bit, so when I want to start working a know a little bit about it
@@EricNatureMovies just so you know, we have a long tradition of re-education in Sweden, and it is common to start a new career as an adult. Thus we as a society have built a system for adults to learn new skills if that would be needed for a new job. And many, not a majority though, far from it, courses are "distanskurser" (over a distance, lectures are online).
YH is short for "Yrkeshögskola", they re-educate people for jobs that the industry and society needs. They get money from the government to run courses for jobs that are identified as "in need".
Studieförbund have courses both for hobbies and for work. They run courses that people are interested in, not what society needs. But there is an overlap. (They vary from ceramics, to languages to computer skills and so on)
Then (naturally) universities have both single courses and whole programs that are online-based.
@@Divig Thank you, information like this is so valuable for us! I will definitely look into it!
