I love going their with my grandchildren. I limit them to $25 each and they have a blast. We go about 3 or 4 times a year. Great place to find real bargains for their rooms.

Five Below is a must! You really never know what you're going to find! The rugs I've purchased from there are fantastic and one of my favorite finds.
I hung a couple of their rugs on my bathroom wall as decorations and they’re super adorable! Also, their wicker shelf and a fake plant I got there. I love it!

@@theresag.4188 yes! I seen a video on how to make your home “warm/cozy” and they did it. I used a 3x5 for the big wall and a small one hung vertically/small wall.
I would call the color of that rug "terra cotta" 👍
I thought of Siena Red, but Terracotta is perfect :-)

Just got home after a tour of Dollar Tree stores & a Five Below - my niece said EXACTLY the same thing about the white baskets w/faux leather trim "I bought the same ones at Target for a lot more"! Fun store!

I am obsessed with 5 below!!! Yes they have some amazing pillows blankets rugs!! Home stuff I can’t get enough. I constantly check their website. And luckily by me there’s a bunch of stores that I can pop into.
We just got a Five Below in Western Kentucky about 2 years ago and now we have more popping up in the area.
That tray, using the board and wall shelves, was genius and looked so sophisticated 💗💗

We don’t have one in my town but whenever we are in a town that has one I have to stop in, so many hidden gems! I don’t think I’d ever been in one until a few months ago, now I’m obsessed.

I first found 5below when I lived in Maryland. The kids loved it. They recently built one south by my sisters house (We are in California). I’m staying with her for a week next month, and I’m definitely going.
Love, love Five Below! When my grandsons were little I’d give each of them $20 to shop! Decisions, decisions! They had a blast! Y’all might think $20 was a lot but honestly it saved me a ton & they got a real ‘Haul’! My favorite today was the rattan tray! You looked beautiful in the pink dress Liz! 💞🛍

I’m with Delaney but I thought it was a place that sold stuff for going to places that are 5° degrees -so like parkas/coats, ice skates, skis, stuff for really really cold weather! 😂😂 My brother-in-law was like “No, everything there is five DOLLARS .” 😅😂 Game changer! Since then I’ve gone in and found some neat stuff. I love so many of the things you found! Amazing prices, too! 👏

We have a 5 Below. They built it over a year ago. I love shopping there. I go probably every couple of weeks. I love their home decor. To me 5 Below is geared more towards kids and young teens. But I find things I love there all the time!!
Yes 🙌🏾 when you brought out that 1st cut fringe piece I was thinking, aww man she going to sew that, I can’t sew, and when you brought out the hot glue, I immediately thought, Praise the lord, she’s my kind of lady!
Great video! Used to go to 5 Below here in NH with my granddaughter but they have really used their game with more home decor pieces, not just stuff for kids. Love the rugs (the large blue one is amazing!), the white baskets, rattan shelves, amber candle jar, and the cute jumbo paper clips! I think I'll go this weekend! We have a Five Below here. It opened not many months before the Pandemic, so I’ve only shopped there a few times. I went recently and bought several items for an office remodel. I purchased a 3’x5’ rug for $5!

We love 5 Below. It just opened here about a year ago. Squishmellows are huge here and will be an excellent Christmas present.
In Kingston, NY our Five Below just moved from a small side strip of a plaza into a large main plaza, next door to where a Barnes and Noble just left. I haven't been in yet, but it seems like they really up-sized, so I'm excited to explore it.
I love those squishy things. This past Easter, dollar tree had 2 sizes for $3 and $5. I added them to Easter baskets.

Loved this shopping trip! We have 3 Five Below stores all within about 15 min of our house (going in 3 different directions). My girls love to shop there but I’ve only been once. Thinking back, it was July in Texas and their ac was out so it wasn’t a great experience. I’m going to have to give them another chance. They have so much cute stuff!💗

I live in Thomasville, GA and there is a 5 below in Tallahassee, FL. The store is about 45m from me. I have not shopped at 5 below but after watching your video I will check them out the next time I am in Tallahassee. Love all you DIY. I will be definitely referring back to them for inspiration. 😊😊

We have like 4 or 5 of the Five bellow stores around the area where I live. I don't go often but really like it.
The Dollar Tree has these pink neon thumb nail shaped silicone finger toppers for glue gun crafts to help not burn your fingers! U should get some! They come in a three pack (idk why lol) and of course are in the craft section 🙂
I was looking for something to make floor pillows/cushions with. I think I’ll try the rugs.
I’ve been buying their stuff online for the past year! They upped their game a lot since acquiring the company “hollar”Shipping and handling is about $7. I’ve bought 100% cotton throws, 5”7 rugs, throw rugs, pillows, organizers, etc! It’s an awesome to shop their website where I can take all the time to browse from home during COVID and not have to go in!
They also have a section called “Five and Beyond” in store and online for items above $5

I rarely shop but I have seen these stores and assumed they were clothing stores. I may actually go in one now! They seem to have practical stuff at good prices. Thank you for giving us a tour and some inspiration!
I have not been in Five Below in about 6 years now but boy I am going to look this weekend, yes in my neighborhood however if it is anything like Dollar Store not getting stuff in I will not be able to get much. The pillows are very nice.
Thank you Liz, for showing us something different! (Not the usual DT or Target videos that we get a lot of.) I used to shop at Five Below quite often. I lived in another state, (in a much bigger city,) and I had two teenage daughters at home. They had very affordable decor, and I always found different and fun gifts for girls there.
Now I have teen boys at home. They don’t care about pillows and pictures. They don’t like games or box science kits any more. It’s such a bummer. Most of the items, when we do go there to buy things, they have fun with for a few seconds, and then never touch again. 😩 They are growing up too fast!
Five Below is not a convenient shopping trip for me now, due to location. But it will be on my holiday shopping trip list! I can always count on them for fun and unique stocking stuffers! And I may just make a trip there for some fun and different projects to do for myself. 😊Self care is important, right?

Delaney, I'm with you because I had never even heard of 5 Below (living in Central Oregon). I started watching these types of vids and figured 5 Below was a sporting goods place that specialized in cold weather gear.
Five Below is a great source for DIY materials. I recently purchased a white “fur” rug to use as a seat cover for a chair in my master bathroom. The only problem I have with this store is I can easily get distracted and spend way too much on items I don’t really need. LOL

Yes, I have one and haven’t been there in forever. I’m building a new house and would love some inexpensive diy decor items. Loved the ones you showed. I NEED those huge paper clips and the candles! Going to for sure look for items for the tray and pillows. And regarding the Squishmallows, yes my daughter loves them ,but luckily realizes too many can be too much. I have young adult sons and one of my son’s ex-girlfriend seriously could not stop buying them. Just to let you know where I am with a Five Below, I’m in Frisco, Texas. Like your photographer I originally thought it was an ice cream store. Thanks for the reminder and inspiration to go hit mine for some diys that are a bit more higher end looking than the Dollar Tree. We do have a Five Below in our area and I used to take my daughter there when she was younger to get Ramune (a Japanese drink) and Poki which were right in the front of the store and I never went looking around at anything else. Now I'm dying to go back there and check out the whole store!

Went to 5 Below today! I like to hit the paper area and craft section. Found terrific water color paper, fountain pens with colored ink, and bunches of other things. Finally, the music drove me out, but not before my bargains went with me.
