I love how simply slowing it down a little from its original changes the beginning of the song from something bittersweet to completely dread inducing. I get goosebumps every time I hear this song.
I agree, this song is absolutely paralysing. I had to turn the audio off the first time I watched the original video.
It's interesting to me that within the context of the original video, the looping tune only seems to highlight the "greatness" of the Rockefeller airships. I didn't expect it to really be something of a love song, which make the lyrics feels more depressive to think on when considering what beings are forced to keep the airships afloat.
In the video of ROCKEFELLERREVELATION, I remember audibly gasping when the inside of the zeppelin was revealed.
"The Crown! It's the CanyonCrown! They're inside! They're inside!" I remember shouting.
Only Alex Kansas can evoke such a powerful sense of dread with the MonumentMythos. I salute him.

I'm so glad I found this, everything about ROCKEFELLERREVELATION is so amazingly upsetting to me. How ashamed Rockefeller is, the secret of the zeppelin itself, and the "dear lord have mercy" feel of the music. The title alone is worrying, I've always loved horror that focuses on how it disrupts our lives and what we thought we knew.

Rockefellerevelation is my favorite monument mythos episode. I love how Rockefeller narrates what happened while it also switches to the charts of the airships, and the music makes it sound so grandious.

The crowns will basically levitate on their own. That's why they're used as a replacement for hydrogen/helium/any other light gas. They are basically severed from their host body via GIZAGLASS or the FREEDOM statue, are then rounded up, and are thrown into the airship. They're basically enslaved people the government didn't like. So Rockefeller doesn't feel bad about using them as a source of flight.
