This is much more interesting to me that the million dollar Cedia builds you see online. I love the passion of the owner doing it himself. I love the thought process that goes into every piece of hardware trying to determine the best bang for buck, and what will suit the needs best. The cable routing tunnels are just plain brilliant.
Dude making your kids rake sand and they are questioning as to why they are doing it.😊 This is such a Mr Miyagi moment (sand on sand off). You gotta make em watch karate kid if they haven’t already done so. Thank you for the video.
I love these tours! Gear reviews are okay, 4K reviews are okay, but hearing stories about people’s room builds and seeing their dedicated rooms are where it’s at!
I love your theater, Matt! It's amazing how much work you did to make this theater absolutely stunning. It was great being able to experience it in person!
This was outstanding! He's the Bill Belichick of home theater. His work is better than most professional home theater design and build companies. I just went to a 120 inch wide, so to do 200 inch is like a small commercial theater. 👍👍
Amazing room! Well done!! Did you consider adding a madVR to your setup? Does the Trinnov adjust automatically to the 2.35:1 aspect ratio of your screen?
It is appealing, but the price/convenience isn't quite there for me yet. To many other upgrades prioritized ahead of a MadVR. Right now I just deal with lens memories being called, which takes about 8 seconds to switch between.
I've had commercial speakers ( JBL 3677's previous version to what this chap has ) and supporting speakers don't be fooled by the new kids on the block. They still sound amazing and are a fraction of the cost of the high end hifi gear you get. The same goes for the amps that drive them. I prefer them to Ascendo and Hypex amps. JBL Pro speakers and Crown amps. They are as ugly as F and big. I could not fit the surround JBL's in my small room so went Procella then Ascendo. However, the Coaxial ones this guy has will give the others a run. I've had them in my room so, I know.
I had the exact same excellent experience with Seymour: They made me a custom AT fabric screen for my own-build frame. The only tricky part of the transaction for me, an Englishman, was trying to understand your measurement system - parts of inches sometimes quoted as fractions, sometimes as decimals! It all ended up matching my metric screen and worked out beautifully though (albeit not as beautifully as Matt's room..!).
Sweet theater. Thanks for sharing. I remember seeing this theater when the owner was building it but never seen the finished product. I never knew what his bed layer speakers were but knew he had the RSLs in the ceiling. I do have a couple of questions. What Seymour material is he using, Centerstage XD or UF ? Also what application did he use to attach the screen material to? Thanks again.
Amazing video! Where is this guy from? Many inspiring ideas from this! Did i notice he was using WLED for his LED strips? Need to chat with him more about his controller and home assistant!
Beautiful theater! Is there a link to his build somewhere? I'm a little surprised to see what looks like a lamp-based epson projector. Considering how professional this theater is, that's a rather meager projector for a 200" screen.
Incredible video and good interview! Is there any way you could find someone with an IMAX at Home theater setup and do a deep video on it? There is barely anything online. It is the rarest setup at home i guess
It doesnt! They have different tiers and started (pre covid) at 400.000 up to a million. The company who made those, collaborated with the architect of the client to make it work. Dual projector system, the works basically. Online there is a few infos about it
@EverythingHomeTheater I've had the pleasure of auditioning this theater and can say that it sounds pretty darn incredible. Exactly as you would imagine it sounding from watching the video. This is no longer a home theater, it's quite literally a theater in Matt's home.
@@GeorgeTheaterAtHome I was thinking it was maybe a fun 30th anniversary homage to the original PlayStation which, when its CD drive started to go wrong, would work if you turned it upside down..!

The NEW king of the RUclips home theater tours.
Keep it up.
Thank you 🙏! So glad you enjoyed it!

This is cool - I’m going to steal the ceiling idea he came up with
I’ve lurked this theater build on AVSForum. Great job!
lovely room! wonderful job!

Excellent, beautiful theater, just wow! And what an eye for details! Those cool devastators....😮
Wow, absolutely awesome thanks for posting.
You’re welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!

wow.an amazing project.
I love your theater, Matt!

Talk about bringing a theater home, it's just that! Amazing setup 👍
I used the SCS-8's in my old room for surrounds and height speakers. They did a great job with my JBL 4722'S.

Really nice theater. Good job George!
Thanks Jordan!
I love your front stage. I wish I had the ceiling height to do something like that.
excellent setup pal, where did you buy the ghostbusters car from, if you dont mind me asking.
Great video! Keep up the great material!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I’ve got a new video project I’m working on and could feature a Deep Sea Sound sub if you’re interested.
Size matters! Wow this man has skills…wish I did.
Great job George. Matt is an exceptionally talented guy. I couldn't be more impressed with his creativity and passion for the hobby.
foam ceiling is clever.
Great looking room!

Wow is right! Looks amazing! I thought my screen was big at 185".
It is.
Great Rig!

I wonder how often all of those seats are occupied at the same time!
Matt’s theater is amazing!! His attention to detail is perfect. 👌
Nice. I love seeing you doing Tours. Keep ‘em coming ! 👏
Thanks Frankie! Glad you enjoyed it!

Awesome theater! Was the PS5 upside down?
I believe it was
Seriously?
You couldn’t take 30 seconds to tell us what projector he’s running that 200” screen with?
We discussed his projector in the video
Fun interview. Very impressive build.

It’s also such a nice color scheme. Happy but serious.

I’ll try and get the build thread link. The picture is surprisingly good! The 6050 really is a light cannon. It works well even on a screen that size.

Wish u had done the listening impressions as well,as purists hate commercial speakers @ home.
Incredible video and good interview!

I’ve never heard of an IMAX theater in a home. That would need to be a massive house…😳
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video!!

How did it sound?
As amazing as it looks. Such a great viewing and listening experience.

This is no longer a home theater, it's quite literally a theater in Matt's home.
For the projector I would’ve went with Christie or Barco for your theater
Great theatre, great video. Is it me or Matt: One of us has their PS5 upside down..?!
Thanks! Glad you liked the vid! You’ve for a sharp eye. It does indeed appear his PS5 is upside down.
