That place was packed, Looked like the whole jetty was slamming them though..That looked like crazy fun with those fights..Sucks about that rod but atleast it was on a nice fish haha..that sandwich looked really good! 👊👊

The bait, in this case mullet are running thru this area and wreaking havoc. Paid with a redfish spawn during the last few months makes for some epic fishing opportunities. I wanted to return this weekend, but the winds are horrendous and I hate fishing in that madness.

Thanks man, appreciate you! I edited out talking about toasting the bread in the same pan I fried the fish it. Pan looked a bit rough and I was being lazy, after that long day. You can get a beach parking pass at any of the local convenience stores. They sell them during the day at certain beach points as well. As far as getting stuck, I'm the wrong one to ask, as I have been stuck several times! Ha Ha Thanks for hanging out and have a terrific day!
Awesome man you are killing it with these videos👍🔥I recently caught my first red drum it measured 25 inches they put up a nice fight and they get you tired alright 😅 I would love to go jetty fishing, but I don't have the right gear for it, what do you recommend for the jetty?
Thanks Fernando, appreciate the kind words! Honestly, the lighter gear is much more fun when it comes to jetty fishing overall. If you want a heavy action rod for shark fishing and such, thats not a bad idea. If you like surffishing, thats when you'll want longer rods, in order to get the distance needed to reach the guts. Don't tell them all, but most of the fish you want to catch at the jetties are right on against those rocks. Grab the cheap combos at Academy and Bass Pro Shop with a rod that has some backbone and a reel that can hold 300 yards of line or so. This will support your needs fine and won't break the bank either. Once you find out what really suits your needs, style and budget, you can upgrade if/when necessary. Have a magnificent week sir!
