Thank you for your great BenQ videos. What wolud be the best way to connect the SW240 monitor to an old MacBook Pro 17" late 2011? Thanks!

Use a DisplayPort - Mini DP cable. Connect to the 2011 MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt 2 port.

@@BenQGlobal Thank you! I tried that but then I found out that the discrete graphics card of my 2011 MacBook Pro unfortunately has been disabled.

Hi Art, i hv calibrated slot 1 2 & 3 for Adobe RGB, sRGB and Panel Native respectively what i see is there is green color cast on all of them, sRGB has more looks more desaturated, tried calling the local support he said to try changing with all cables, HDMI etc, as i was using DVI cable.

No DCI P3 in the color space when you changed it with the button?

Would it still be the best entrance monitor for photo editing? I have a macbook pro M1 Max and I need an Adobe RGB monitor to work with and I am considering this one budget wise... I was wondering about the big brother sw271 but not sure the resolution gets you so far to pay the extra 400euros... Thanks a lot for your wonderful reviews!!! 😊

I saw the height can be adjusted with the stand, what is the lowest height it can go? I have a camera set up behind my monitor , i am using a standard 24 inch monitor now, I need to upgrade a better monitor for video editing which can stay low without to blocking my camera lens, thanks.

I was wondering if the blank/black space on the screen between what is displayed and the bezel was normal. Yours does the same.. I guess that is indeed as intended. One thing though with a DVI cable I'm not able to adjust the Aspect Ratio. There is a checkmark beside 'Full' but I cannot select 'Aspect' or '1:1' if those were other options. Not sure I'm understanding that correctly if those are supposed to be 2 other options from which to chose.

Not sure what is happening here. But the black is normal. About the DVI if you need further help please reach out to me on my channel ruclips.net/user/artisright

What does “hardware calibrated display “ mean.

    • @invictuscrown4026
      @invictuscrown4026 4 года назад

means that it aint calibrated in software. They all come in the best gamut from factory.

Hi Art, I have a SW204, Have you had any issue if you do a calibration and then click on the colour tab in the display setting of a mac. For me the calibration suddenly changes and becomes unusable.. I'm really seeking help on this issue..

What the point .. official Benq dealer in my country won’t import this product .. I have personally requested them for more than 10 units but they are afraid it will remain in stock. Why assign a dealer who doesn’t know how to sell. There no address mentioned in your official website to make such complain. I’m going for alternative now.

Art, Thank for the very instructional video. I'm in process of buying a Benq monitor, and have a couple of questions:
    1. Is this display the same panel as used in the SW2700PT, but at a lower resolution?
    2. I have a Datacolor Spyder 3 Pro. Can I use it to calibrate this display with the built in software?
    3. is the SW240 your 4th generation monitor, or just the same panel in a smaller form factor?
Please let me know. Thank you!

Please don't get me wrong, I love the monitor, but I think the PME software isn't totally compatible with OSX, has anyone else noticed that the image changes if you click on the colour tab in the display setting?
