- Welcome to Northbury Grove, a small town that gets shaken up by a serial killer! I really loved this game so much and there are 3 more games in this series! I cannot wait to play all of them. This wasn't necessarily the most scary game out there but I loved the artstyle and atmosphere so much. I just had a great time and I hope you do too! Much love and see you during the streams :D

loved to watch this live. literally jumped the first 3 times you got chased but after a while it became so predictable when he were going to hunt you.
Idk if this is just me but whenever Insym plays these games it reminds me so much of CoryxKenshin. It really gives me that nostalgic vibe. And I know that Insym is his own RUclipsr, but I really can't help myself thinking that he is the new Cory. He has managed to fill in the gaps when Cory stopped posting.

Pretty impressive how nowadays scarier games seem to have somewhat "worse graphics" just as if older equals scarier
For a lot of those games it's an intentional artistic choice. PS1 style horror games are in right now, so the devs will intentionally make the game look old and grainy like it's from the PS1 days. It serves two purposes: it adds a degree of authenticity and grittiness to the games, but is also very cheap and easy to make compared to trying to make "good" graphics." So while this game isn't really going for the PS1 look, it's the same general idea. Make it look older and nastier on purpose.

You can really tell the difference between *real* intentional, and the "I don't fucking care" intentional x)

Scythe Dev Team have made several great games including Happy's Humble Burger Farm which will get a full release soon. My favorite game from them so far. Northbury Grove is a great horror! Glad you played it!

I got mad at not being able to loop this guy and just watched your video instead. So glad I chose to. Many hilarious moments in this.
The keycard and fuse are randomly spawned. I was so mad because I got them both easily first playthrough but had no idea he was coming and died...then I couldn't find the fuse. First time I found it, it was on a table.
THIS IS THE MOST TERRIFYING AND SCARIEST GAMEPLAY THAT I'VE EVER SEEN!!! Thanks to Insym he makes me feel tougher and braver to continue watching this video even it is extremely scary
Sounds like the same animal sounds in the background that you hear at the pianist manor in GHC. The lamps look the same too. Always funny to see the same assets in other games
