- This is definitely the loudest horror game I have ever played. HEADPHONE WARNING! Nun Massacre is a game by Puppet Combo, which is a very well known studio! This was my first Puppet combo experience. I have to be honest that it was a pretty rough experience, I don't know why it had to be SO FRICKING LOUD. I would have enjoyed this game more if I didn't get hearing damage from it. In any case this was still a good time overall. I don't manage to get all of the endings myself but I do check out all the endings that this game has. I hope you enjoy! Much love and see you during the streams :D
NOTE: This video was recorded a few weeks ago when I had just bought a brand new mic and equipment, this is why the audio is a little messed up in this video. Apologies! I have long since fixed these issues.

I think he did play night shift already. He actually played quite some games from that developper if I m not mistaken

I LOVE that you generally finish a game and will show multiple gameplays! I know the bigger gaming youtubers will edit significantly but I don't enjoy it being so choppy.
The first jump scare when the nun attacked you and the volume went through the roof had me in hysterics with the way you reacted, Sym.😂😆 It was absolutely brilliant!☺😅
When I was watching it on the stream I took a look at the wiki of this game out of curiosity. Apparently the nun sounds are actually taken from a real 911 call recreated by the game authors. That game is really next level.

you can walk by her sometimes without her reacting because she's deaf from playing her loud music when she chases people
A little fact about the game (5 days after the video release xD)
The nun's screams are taken from a real 911 call from a woman who gets murdered by an intruder, it's pretty intense.
Also, if insym reads this, other great puppet combo games that I think you might like are: Scary Tales Vol 1 (a collection of games that get connected by a little story), Night Watch, Stay out of the house, Powerdrill Massacre, Night ripper and Babysitter Bloodbath (or more easily, just play all the games xD)
This is only slightly true, yes it’s from a real 911 call but the lady doesn’t get murdered, she actually survives and dies multiple years later. I wanted to double check after reading your comment because if this was a voice clip from a woman actually dying that would be pretty gnarly/morally questionable from the game devs

That's my draw to Puppet Combo games. They make the game so loud in the scary parts that it makes it hard to think, Leading you to make dumb decisions for even scarier moments. It's so good mixed with the retro visuals.
Also, My personal scariest Puppet Combo game has to be Power Drill Massacre or Babysitter Bloodbath. They have in my opinion the best ambiance of any of them.
your draw to these games is that their designed horribly and super obnoxious? I mean I guess some people like bad games, to each their own. It being so loud it physically damages your eardrums is extremely excessive, there is no justification for it.

It being somewhat loud and a chunk louder then the rest of the game is fine, it being like literally 20 fucking times the volume of the rest of the game is extremely excessive
@@narius4241 I'm not saying it isn't excessive. However I am completely fine, I turned down the volume a bit, and now I can hear things without having my eardrums explode.

i love puppet combo games, and while i do agree that their games are too loud, i think that’s part of what makes them so great; its volume startles you so much, adding to its thrill effect. it’s amazing.

28:23 Game seems good so far. But every time there's reading I feel angry. There's no need to force people to focus so much because the letters are all distorted. That's my only complaint about this game, rest is fine (maybe not so loud lol)
Even tho he changed the VHS setting to PSX when he was playing the intro of the game, it changed back to VHS once he entered the place. So thats basically why its difficult to read since he didnt change the setting again. If you change the setting to PSX the game would look less distorted and more clear, hence you would be able to read clearly, he just didnt notice he needed to change it again sadly
@@Inkreeze you can also disable the CRT to have a completely clean screen.
I feel like the game does this on purpose to make it more scarier. Like think abt it like imagine hearing that evil chase sound as you’re squinting your eyes to read the letter and you’re super focused. That’s like the perfect jump scare opportunity. Id be scared shitless

My mom went to a catholic school in Spain ran by nuns in the 70's in a small rural village. Maybe they're different nowadays but damn nuns really were vicious. They made my aunt's knuckles bleed every day bc she was left handed, made the kids kneel in gritty sand on the floor during class if they were bad, even locked my aunt in a closet all day and forgot about her after school hours until my great grandmother found out and beat that nun with a thick rope (police weren't rlly a thing where they were so the villagers often took matters into their own hands). Not to mention the abuse, indoctrination, and degradation that took place and often still takes place in roman catholic institutions.
They are no different nowadays unfortunately.

I know there are a couple of games that are like this that are just *insanely* loud for no reason other than to just cause stress on your ears and your mind (I guess that's the whole point of them?
