Nice Work my mate. Here's a "potential" thought.. At @6:35 where you see one of the Workers, he's standing on, or using what look like Pins. Is it possible they could be there for a Badge/Crest? - Again, just a thought?
Thank You So Much, this is a popular reply and many viewers saying the same, that cladding was removed as you can see in video when I'm on main stand gantry and cladding was back when I was near pitch so maybe it is for the crest preparation 👍
GB it's looking really well the power washing is really getting there looking so much cleaner thanks for the update about the flag poles for the banners to go on and the cladding inside the ground is near enough done couple weeks in it be finished and then I was left at hopefully those two stones turn up thank you for your time in the pouring rain😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great stuff GB, appreciate the updates you provide in all weathers and doing the tour again also. Looking forward to seeing the exterior when it's all dry. YNWA
GB mate , I think the area where the guy on ropes was hanging under the roof on ropes looked like there were some mounting points visible in front of him, possibly for a new club crest to be attached under the roof to complete the look.
At 6 minutes 55 seconds into the video the rope guy is not checking the cladding. He's clearly installing the connectors for an illuminated club Crest like the ones on all the other stand rooves and like there was on the old Anfield Road stand roof.
What a fantastic update GB! The cladding finally looks decent although I do believe it could have been better Main Stand side. Pretty sure the Liverpool crest will be going where they removed some of that cladding and fitted the pins. Also am I the only one who thinks the row of seats on the lower Annie Road (right hand side at the top) is a waste of space and could have fit in at least another 100 extra seats?
Here's a question that I hope you can answer because the staff didn't have a clue on my both recent Anfield tours. Whats the reason for the wooden panels between some seats on the lower main stand?. There's at least 2 or 3 that I noticed.
I'm not certain as when I was pitch side steward I was always on the pitch in front of Main Stand and always sat on front by advertising boarding so never saw them but hopefully some can answer this who sits near this area in lower main stand as must be a reason 👍
@@greybeardmedia-merseysidebeyI think that is where a new crest (or the old one) will go, it looks like there are fixings on that piece of cladding for it
@@anthonyhitchmough3455agreed, what are the 2 open sections either side of that, like black strips. Are they getting filled in or are they like that for cameras etc?
Thanks for the video can you answer my question on your next video ,do you think it'll be a good idea to build a multi storey car park where the current car park is ?
The club won't do that. They do their best to encourage public transport to avoid gridlock. They're more likely to make it harder to park at the ground than easier.
I think FSG will at some point sell naming rights on the new stand to the highest bidder/ sponser and then you might see a sign going up above the entrance .

Great to finally see that brickwork done after so long.
Fair play like, for the all the criticism it’s took it looks amazing.

They are putting badge on the middle of the roof aren't they? like other 3 stands
Thanks Wayne. Really appreciate the videos and your commitment. The Main Stand seats are a real shame. But great work mate from you!

Thank You So Much 👍 Possible but the whole cladding sheet was missing as you can see the gap when I was on the gantry 👍

Probably was clear on bigger screen, remember when I'm filming on DJI pocket 2 I'm filming on a 2 inch screen, wasn't clearly to me at the time 👍
Wayne.... Will the seats in the main stand sprayed?
Hi bud. Great video as always. Any ideas why they have covered the windows of the hospitality in red? The 3D map showed them as windows ?
Thank You So Much 👍 Red cladding and apparently it's here to stay, I did check on plans and saw they was red
Thanks for all your efforts covering this build bud 😎
@@rossbutcher6895 thank you so much, means a lot 👍
Wonder if there putting a crest in the middle there looked like some screws
Yeah possibly 👍

Maybe that guy on the rope is putting the crest from the old Anfield road stand back on 🤔
Cladding sheet was removed and he was fixing it back, on the main stand gantry you can make out the whole where the cladding sheet was 👍

The club won't do that. They do their best to encourage public transport to avoid gridlock. They're more likely to make it harder to park at the ground than easier.
The cost is way over what it originally was meant to be of 80 million. Taken so long to finish.
Was there not a sign to be put up above the entrance to the anfield road end?
Not sure what will happen if anything at all there. Was talk of it at one point but nothing on that for months now
@@greybeardmedia-merseysidebey thanks for the information. It still looks setup to have a sign above it. Hopefully it still comes in

Have they not finished this yet ?
Answered your own question 👍
Slowest construction ever. The Chinese would have finished the expansion in 3-6 months lol.
