I have a thermador dual fuel range slide in that I got in 2003 the display panel went in 2014 I had it rebuilt and I reinstalled it myself now in 2024 I think I'm running into the same issues and it's time for a new range. I really like the LG gas models slide in or a dual fuel but I've seen some disturbing reports about the burner caps and how they don't come clean I don't understand this I mean I've seen the burner caps on my thermador get all gross but they clean up very well with an aluminum stainless cleaner made by cameo. I'm really reluctant to buy one of the ranges in this line unless somebody who actually owns one can comment to whether or not this is an issue. Yours look very shiny and clean. I realize yours is a different model but I'm guessing that the burner caps are similar on all of these. Thank you so much for your video.
Well, I can't believe it's been 5 years already, but yes, the burner caps still clean up nicely after all this time. We're still very pleased with the range, although there are some quirks related to baking in both ovens at the same time. It's doable - it's just not the same as having double wall ovens because there is not a lot of insulation between the two, so the heat in the middle tends to dominate when they're used together. It's not the end of the world, but something to be aware of.
This year we roasted a 15.6 pound turkey in the bottom oven. I hope that dispels any concerns about the ability of the oven to handle a decent size turkey.
I had the same issue on how to self-clean, not knowing how to change top vs bottom oven. What you see initially is the bottom oven. That oven has 2 elements and the icon shows them both being activated. To switch between ovens, press the + or - button. This will scroll through the time settings for cleaning which range from 3 to 5 hours. Once you get to 5 or 3 and keep going, it will switch to the top oven. You can then decide on it's cleaning time. Hope this helps!
We have the single oven version (LG6337), and we are delighted with it. Ours has a gas convection oven, partly because we would have had to rewire our house, including a new service panel, to use an electric oven.
The LG website says 18,500 BTUs for the high-powered burner, so slightly better than what I mentioned. You can also adjust the oven temperature setting 35 degrees up or down if the setting seems to be inaccurate. For instance, if the oven isn't actually reaching 350 degrees Fahrenheit, you can use advanced settings to change that default setting for more accuracy. The highest temperature you can set in Bake mode is 550 degrees Fahrenheit. You can also set the oven to Celsius or a 24 hour clock, which makes it quite versatile. More function settings are available by pressing and holding Start Time for 30 seconds.

As long as you have the oven model number you will be able to find the rack that fits it. As for the oven itself, I still really like it, although I think the way the oven dial works can be a bit unusual at first if you're not used to it. Very happy with the self-cleaning function, too, but I wouldn't bother using the shorter Easy Clean function.
is this a stainless color or a black stainless? do you have regular stainless dishwasher , refrigerator, microwave,? does it match perfectly or is the double oven dark stainless? i was told it is a dark grey and wont match ??
It's somewhere in between the two. My Bosch dishwasher is slightly lighter, but it probably isn't really noticeable unless they're side by side. Maybe you can see one in a store to compare.

I don't think putting the grates in the dishwasher would be a good idea, but you coukkd check with LG about that. As for the vent, you could probably fit a toothbrush or pipe cleaner through the slits for cleaning.
@@sacadosify I checked with LG Support, and they could not even tell me the size of screw to use. I'll go to Home Depot and see if I can find matching stainless steel screws, which will solve my problem. It's not a big deal yet, either cosmetically or functionally.

How's it working after 3 years, though? The longevity of these hi-tech units is always questionable. I'm skeptical of anything with an LED display screen.
Still works perfectly. LED display screens have been around for a very long time. Microwaves, ovens, printers, coffee makers, mobile phones, tablets, computer monitors, CD players and many other types of devices/appliances use LED displays. Has anyone on this thread cooked a turkey in the oven? I need to make sure I don't buy an oven that doesn't work with turkeyday. Please reply if you know, thx.
I haven't cooked a turkey in it yet, but I'd say the oven cavity has about 10" to 11" of space from the bottom rack, leaving at least an inch of clearance from the top heating element, so you can estimate the height of the turkey you plan to cook along with the pan you plan to roast it in and decide from there. Here are the interior oven dimensions according to LG: Oven Interior Dimensions (Lower) W x H x D: 24 13/16" x 14 1/4" x 20". Hope that helps.
Hi, thanks for your review. I have a question I hope you could answer. My question is regarding the gas connection on the back of the range which everyone seems to be complaining about because it's flush with the back of the range instead of it being pushed in so the back of the range can go flush with back wall. Is it possible you can post a picture of your gas connection and line? I'm trying to figure out how to install the gas line so range could be flush with back wall. Thanks in advance.
Jorge, I was trying to add a picture of how my gas line was done, but we ran it from the top of the attic down towards the back of the stove. We literally went all the way down towards the bottom and we added a Sioux Outlet Gas Box that flushed to the drywall and is practically millimeters above floor our tile to avoid the actual gas valve from pushing the stove outward, since the bottom part of the stove has a good 4-5” inch area that is specially designed for the gas valve that comes out of the ground, wall, or lower side of the kitchen cabinets. From there we just connected the gas line from the stove to the new gas valve and we were able to push the stove an inch off the wall and it flushed fairly well too. Worked out nicely. 👍🏼
Thanks for sharing the video. We have the same stove. Only question I have is, do you know the part number for the rear filler? Ours did not come with it, and we have about 1” gap between our backsplash and stove. Or if anyone else has purchased it, is that something I can find on others sites besides LG’s site? Thanks a lot.

According to some other comments I've read, if the oven is close to a wall it might make a loud whining noise. Apparently, LG has a solution to fix this problem. Your best bet is to contact LG or an authorized LG appliance repair shop to find out how to fix it.
We have this exact model too. What has your experience been with baking? My wife is getting frustrated because it doesn’t seem to bake thoroughly without rotating the baked item.

I don't know what the single oven coating is. How did you scratch it? From my experience, this model doesn't scratch easily unless you use something extremely abrasive on it, like a very abrasive metal scouring pad. I could imagine some very sharp metal objects could be a problem, too, but these would scratch any oven.
do the knobs light up when it's on? I have a problem of leaving the stove on:( I need some serious visual cues to let me know that I left my pots burning.....thanks
Unfortunately, they do not, but here's a tip that might help: you can set the timer as a reminder to turn off the gas or check on a pot that is in use. If that doesn't help, you may need to go with a different range - most likely induction would work best.
@@sacadosify Thanks....that's a bit unfortunate, since I really like this one:( Maybe I can get the similar unit with 2 oven doors. It seems to have a blue ring light when its on.
I have same problem with my present Kitchen Aid stove right now. If I set to simmer, I will forget quickly then. I love double oven the most but if it has the ring light when its on, will be perfect .
@@Flavourful_Plates I only had 2 requirements. 1. knob lights 2. a burner with >25k BTU. As much as I hate samsung products, it was the only one I could find. The knob lights had saved me many times since I got it. All but once :D I didn't get the double oven version, since the oven is just additional storage for me. I use my steam/combi oven for everything else.
Thanks for this review. Can you tell me if the 2 ovens are limited in temperature range when both are in use? In other words, can I run one oven at 500 and the other at 300, for ex? Thanks so much for an answer on this! LG could not help me when I called!
You can set each oven temperature independently, so, yes, you can set one to 350 and the other to 500 if you choose. I do notice residual heat from one oven enters the other oven, so if you are using the upper oven for one thing, you wouldn't even have to use Proof or a warming temp. for the lower oven.
I use the top one for broiling meat, fish, vegetables, etc. and baking things like cookies, pies, pastries and pizza. It heats up fairly quickly. The lower oven works well for roasting, braising, proofing and baking bread and baking cakes, cookies, pastries, pies and other things that might not fit in the smaller top oven. They both maintain a fairly consistent temperature, although they might cook items a little faster than an oven with a larger cavity. I don't use the lower oven convection and haven't really found a need for it, since everything comes out of the ovens evenly baked. The fan in the lower oven can be an annoyance when baking at high temperatures, but it's not something I'm concerned about. The oven is well insulated, so the room doesn't heat up in hot weather. I've found 450 degrees F in the lower oven perfect for baking bread in a Dutch oven. I should mention that I've used the Self Clean cycle several times now and am impressed at how well it cleans the oven.
The oven works on propane (extra attachment included) or natural gas. You can read about their warranty information (under "Support") and pricing here (for other markets, you may have to change the country settings on their site): www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-LUTD4919SN-lgsignature
We always purchase an extended warranty. Appliances these days aren't made to last like they used to. My husband used to work in appliances at a big box store, and he quickly learned that the manufacturers' warranties are frequently insufficient. He got nothing for recommending extended warranties, but always did so.
If you clean it as intended, it should not easily scratch. The best way is to use the Self Clean setting (available on the electric ovens). Read the manual on how to prepare the oven. The Easy Clean setting really doesn't seem to do much. If you have to clean by hand, heat up the oven to about 200 degrees Fahrenheit, squirt water into oven cavity, let oven cool to touch, then lay dampened paper towels or absorbent cloths over stubborn charred bits of leftover food. Wipe oven cavity and stains with cloth or sponge after about 15 minutes. If you still have blackened areas, you'll want to use the Self Clean setting. If you don't have the Self Clean setting, you can try using a sponge that has a slightly abrasive pad on one side. The oven comes with a pad, so I would use that one and/or find a pad that is similar and not too rough. Hope this information helps.
It should. Just ask LG. If you are using the gas at the time of a power outage, you can continue to use the cooktop, but as a precaution you can install a battery operated gas leak detector near your range. In the event of a disaster, you have to shut off your gas line anyway.

Thanks for this video. Does your Oven Control knob also have a spring behind it? I inherited this oven and that knob is very loose and doesn’t have a spring behind it. Thanks!
I don't believe that the oven control knob has a spring behind it. I have heard of people having to replace it if it comes off, so you might want to check for information about the knob and how to replace it on LG's website.
You mentioned you bought a second sliding rack. Please tell me where you purchased from. Also how do you increase the oven temperature as it’s running. I have tried the + then start and it defaults to the original temp.
I bought the sliding rack directly from LG on their website. Just enter your model number and look for accessories that fit it. As for the temperature, you select the temp. button, then + or - and then press Start button to set it.
@@sacadosify, thank you. The lg website won’t allow me to add to cart. I contacted my support guy. Maybe he can help. Just got the stove last week. Loving it. It replaced a 20+ year old dual fuel stove. Have a happy holiday.
Does it scratch easily I got the other model with one oven door but I don’t like how it easily scratches?
@@sacadosify oh wait, that's this one:(
I have same problem with my present Kitchen Aid stove right now.
Burner grates come very close to counters, do you see any issues with heat burning the counters?
I have butcherblock on one side and haven't had any problems.
@@sacadosify THANK YOU! This stove seems like a perfect fit.
How do you use the electric oven?
I will watch again want to buy how much it cost and warranty is it worth buying other thing does work on LPG or Pipe gas Thankyou reply soon ❤
Hello has your scratched easily when cleaning it?
Can you cook a turkey in this oven?
I guess it depends on the size of the turkey. I haven't cooked a turkey in it, so can't really say, but maybe a 15 pound would fit.
Does this comes with a fail safe device for gas leak?
It should. Just ask LG. If you are using the gas at the time of a power outage, you can continue to use the cooktop, but as a precaution you can install a battery operated gas leak detector near your range. In the event of a disaster, you have to shut off your gas line anyway.
is your electrical plug 120 or 240?
240V. You can view all the specs here: www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-LUTD4919SN-lgsignature#
What model is this review? Thanks

Gee whiz, not a single view of the complete range :(
LOL! I showed the complete range right at the beginning of the video. It's a slide-in, so the sides don't matter. You can view my unboxing video that shows the back side of it.

Lynn, you crack me up! It is a beautiful stove. You come off as some trust fund baby hillbilly. Based on your review, I’ll buy two of them!
butterfly the chicken then you can cook it in the top oven...problem solved
Yep.
