I went with LG for everything except for the dishwasher. Size and the craft ice feature decided the fridge. Size, reliability, and price decided the range. Bosch was the choice for dish washer because while I’ve never had a dishwasher that didn’t clean well, I’ve never had one that could dry plastics well at all which would same a good bit of time if the Bosch can.
The thing is Bosch makes much better induction cooktop with flex feature, refrigerator (dual compressor), and dishwashers IMHO. Their wall ovens are dated and pricier compared to LG, but you get a decent discount when you bundle their appliances. At least that’s the case here in Canada. I personally also like having separate convection and speed wall ovens for reliability reasons (e.g. if one breaks then you don’t have to take out or replace both of them).
I’ll take my kitchen aid dishwasher all day long. I looked at the new Bosch. I’ve had 2 older Bosch dishwashers. The kitchen aid is a joy to load. So much bigger inside. The design of the 3rd shelf is superior. I am delighted with my choice. My front loader LG washer and dryers are fantastic.
Despite feature comparisons, I think Bosch as a brand, overall, will last longer than LG, despite the kind of appliance. LG is off to a good start with/ the compressor issue, but time is the only thing that will tell.
Went to the store to buy an LG dishwasher, and was surprised to find I didn't like the feel of opening and closing. Got a Samsung on sale for $500 or so, and so far happy with it. The 60 minute clean takes off everything except really dry caked on food. Pops open when it's done. Was confident getting it based on all the good reviews you do. Washer and electric range may be next. May be LG, haha. Question about induction ranges - does the top scratch easily? Thanks.
@@YaleAppliance1 i know, i was on the call and it was very educational..but you didn't discuss brands though. maybe you should consider talking about brands and which perform best
I have had nothing but problems with Bosch kitchen dishwasher oven microwave washer and dryer. I have replaced the dishwasher 3 times in 18 years. My last one lasted 32 years the electronics it has the faster it will be worthless
I love and appreciate what you guys do. However, your LG product reviews are always at variance with reviews from users from other online platforms even LG's official website. For example, the LG Studio walloven mentioned has a 2.8/5 on the LG website. From all the online reviews, one should avoid LG products except for washers and dryers.
I respectfully disagree...always respectfully, BTW. Wall ovens need to be installed correctly and people need to be taught the interface. Both are lacking when appliance shopping..... I love that wall oven and the SKS induction. We service what we sell, and have the reliability numbers of every brand. Yet, LG was number 1 I am not paid by them or anyone else, BTW. Only the customers who shop here
Online reviews are posted by unhinged customers who run into problems and are just airing dirty laundry with an ax to grind. they’re beyond useless. They’re actually provide negative value.
Man, I wish...but it would have to be big money like many millions, say 30-50 mil for me to blink. Sadly thats not going to happen. That said, what is so disagreeable about the video? Bosch is a good line, but they haven't changed their stoves for at least 10 years. They outsourced their "pro" looking induction to SMEG of all companies...so does that make me a mouthpiece for LG?

LG makes the best washer/dryers and flat screen TVs IMO. Refrigerators not so much. 😂

That glass is almost older than me.....Its pretty thick, but I would call it scratch resistant, not scratch proof
great as usual. how about one on ventilation?
I just did a 60 minute webinar on ventilation.

Love your videos, learn a lot.
I appreciate that!
Thanks for the informative video. Can you please share your thoughts on compressor issues with LG refrigerators? Thanks in advance.
Yes....2014-2017 big problem. But based on our service calls, its one of the most reliable
Thanks for helping with it.
Nice helpful comparison. When does Yale plan to compare Beko with LG Studio and Bosch?
Not for a long time....Beko is going through a reorg

Which lg refrigerators have dual compressors?
All have dual evaporators except Counter Max. Bosch has twin compressors
What’s the difference between the LG Studio wall oven combo over its more expensive SKS?
Great question...They are about the same in price and function after rebates
@@YaleAppliance1 thank you
they both have class action suits going on now. Both for control panels on the dishwashers
Unless you drink hot coffee in your car :)

LG compressors still blow.
