I really enjoyed this video 🎉 My biggest challenge is pulling the second side of the flex wire through and it not coming out tight enough so that there is not to big of a gap between the beads, if that makes any sense 😅 My other challenge is once I add my hardware the bracelet size is bigger than I wanted it. Do you have any tips or advice for either of my challenges? I am very new at bracelet making. This video is definitely more my pace … I am now a new subscriber ❤. Also, what are your thoughts on crimp bead covers? I’m going to have to binge watch your videos seeing how this one is 4 years old, I’ve been hiding under a rock 😂. I really like that tool you use to pinch the crimp bead 🎉
Hi Anna, thanks for watching! When crimping you need a little slack in the wire to show for it to lay properly. one of the many reasons we created colored soft flex beading wire was to help offer colors that if seen a bit it gos with your beads and not as noticeable. I understand the struggle for making bracelets too big! I did that for years as I was learning. You need to measure your clasp and how much space is needed for crimping & clasp when figuring out the size. For example, a good rule is about an inch so for a 7" bracelet you string 6" and after crimp & clasp it should be close to 7" give or take. Of course clasp sizes vary so, once you get a correctly sized bracelet for you, use that as your template! Glad you are not subscribed. Happy to have you here! xo Kristen
