I really hope NECA will release these figures seperately down the line.
mickey perdomo unfortunately they will never be released again. Only way is at NYCC or the pre sale
ebay knockoffs might be a way to get them; like the TMNT figuers. Lets just hope someone in China got a hold on these to make molds.
Today is 5/27/20. I just picked this set up at my local Walmart. Gotta love unexpected surprises!
Such great figures. It's a shame that they are Comic Con exclusive. I would have loved to have had them in my collection. I can't make it up there, and I refuse to pay scalpers' prices on the second hand market. Kind of a bummer.
It's plausible that they will be released like normal releases soon, remember the Movie TMNT 4pack, let's hope Neca will be releasing these bad boys individually
Kudos for the Norm Breyfogle mention. His art style is what got me into collecting Batman comics as a kid.
Breyfogle still remains to be my favourite comic artist, I grew up with his art style in the 90s and when I think Batman, Norm's artwork is generally the first thing I think of
I wish Neca did Arkham series. Super articulated batman and deathstroke would be a dream come true.
Watching this review for the 4th time. Batman is perfection, wow! I'm so looking forward to getting these upcoming DC sets from Neca. Again, very Kelley Jones-esque Batman design.
To me this Batman looks much better than the armored one. Still cool sets but I dont like my Bats looking like Iron Man. Cool set and great video, ty!!!

I'd like to see NECA tackle the Injustice-verse characters as i think they could definitely nail the whole "gear" system change ups and whatnot.
Both, the Batman figure and the Joker Alien figure are done quite nicely. However, it would've been nice if Batman had been included with some more accessories, especially given the price point. With that aside, thanks as always Spot!
Well he only really needs sharpened Batarangs to deal with Xenomorphs.
Great review, watched it 3 x's. Can't wait to get the upcoming NYCC sets from Neca. The style of this Batman reminds me very much of 90's Batman, has a touch of Kelley Jones with those long ears...
it looks like Berni Wrightson's Batman with a hint of Kelley Jones thrown in. I need this more than ever. I already have the SDCC ones now I will be hunting these next week. Great review Spot.
I think you're right I do see a little Kelley Jones' Batman worked in there, for me it kinda reminds me a mix of Jones and Michael Turners Batman, its definitely a unique look but still works very well for this Batman figure

Amazing sculpt and paint job on Batman
I have the armored Batman/Predator set and the Superman/Alien set and you are indeed right @thereviewspot, there is just something magical about these figures. I’m not sure what it is but they remind me of the good old days of the 5” DC figures that Kenner Toys used to make. Whether it’s from the Superman: Man of Steel toyline or Legends of Batman, or Total Justice or what have you, these figures feel like updated versions of the figures I used to play with as a kid but it still retains all the subtle nuances of 90’s comics while incorporating all of the aesthetics of a modern action figure with the beautiful sculpts, paint details and super articulated bodies. Really you just can’t ask for a better set. They just hit all the right notes and are great for newcomers and collectors alike. So I like what I have seen so far and based on this review I think I’m going to love the Batman/Joker Alien and the Green Lantern/ Sinestro Corps Predator sets too.

Not bad! I’ll be picking this one up at NYCC. The ears are a little thicker than the proto, and (I’m probably alone here) I would have preferred the head and cowl as 1 sculpt. You lose some articulation, but it looks better IMO. In some of the poses you did, it hid the neck gap well. Nice review👍🏻

Great review. You are SO lucky! If possible please post some photos of this Batman compared to all the other Batman figures you own, eg. DC Superheroes Series 3, NECA 7 inch Keaton Batman. This reminds me of the awesome Kenner Legends Of Batman figures and card artwork. I really hope I can own this Batman plus the Superman. I love the paint of the Alien that comes with Superman. I especially liked the first Batman VS Aliens comic, where he had longer ears and a capsule belt like this.
These ARE the figures I've been looking for. 😄

Cheers for the review, mate. It was actually very helpful and yet not, for a couple of reasons. I was looking foreward for this set for months yet, probably more a year, always skipping to preorder. These are two of my fave franchises and I wasn't sure if I could use a Xenomorph that color, whilst Batman seemed to come close to my favourite interpretations. Thing is, my inner Monk wouldn't allow me to display them separately and as much as I enjoyed the crossover, I didn't feel the need to have a set of figures of it. Now, looking at it in higher detail, I'm not so much a fan of Batman's head. I'd preferred it to be more like a regular cowl you would usually find in that scheme. On the other hand, the Alien works so well in its colours, that I now really would love to have one of these. I just wouldn't spend the asked price for the set as Batman doesn't match my expectations, just to display him with the Alien so that the face is less prominent. It's luxury struggle, and I probably am going to regret not buying at some point, but your insight at least totally twisted my opinnion on the set with just the result beeing the same - I'll probably skip. But actually, I now know exactly why. It's really just details I wouldn't have known otherwise, so thanks for that.

Tbh I think I am going to get the DCeased Batman and Superman figures to put with mine, they are closer to the comics and honestly I feel they will look better with poses.

I've turned on neca since they made these exclusives and there constant quality control issues and waiting for mcfarlane to take over the dc multiverse there sculptors are genius great review spot.

I'm I pretty sure there's a few out there, or maybe there's a hole lot coming from NECA. It depends, weather NECA still making the figures or not.
There are no pre-orders for this or the green lantern 2 packs. The batman vs. joker Alien pre-orders were cancelled and the only way to get them on-line is through the necastore on sept.5 and 6. Your all welcome. Good luck.👍
