Would a trans strat horus work with a high hit count weapon like brawling shuriken storm? Multiple hit AoE from the WM > clipped with an AoE DoT > Horus bleed > rinse & repeat. With multiple WM hits and AoE DoTs critting it should proc the strat card more often. So I was thinking if it should be viable or if anyone has done some testing with it. But then again it shouldn't matter much as adds die up in an instant anyways.

*UPDATE* 200 Solar Amplifier also applies the tactical mod empowered channeling to all abilities that the hand mod would normally cover in addition to Heat Vision. Thus making it if you have a channeled power like Munitions, Solar Amplifier would be required at 200.
I really think they should buff Tetrahedron to give the user more might than ur teammates, that would at least encourage more people to level it cause the concept of giving ur group might is a very cool one and would significantly boost everyones might dps, but rarely anyone builds it nowadays since it feels like a wasted artifact slot since ur group gets the exact same buff as u do and instead just go for solar amplifier even tho some dont even use heat vision, hope u can at least recommend they do this
Same with the cog. No point in running it if you are expecting someone else carrying it. Worse is if there is no one using it as it is rarely even used anymore.

You make great videos and this one is fantastic! For my Might DPS Light Villain (KILLTHOUGHT) and Quantum Hero (STRONGFORCE) I am using Grim and Solar both at 200! For hero, I am leveling up Transformation Card but taking my time as my Tetrahedron for both Characters is at 200. Considering same use of Transformation Card for Villain. 2 out of 3 not so bad! I’m a Earth build and I mixed Source shard on one of my single target loadout’s so I could keep up with the OP ranged dps powers in AOE damage while fighting the boss but I do switch my armories during battle depending on who I’m up against or what ever situation I’m in. And most of the time I top the leaderboards

Doesn’t have to be gadgets but in General is there a big difference between grim 200, strat 200, trans 200 vs venom 200, strat 200 and trans 200. I notice some people leaving venom

Question... regarding your recommendations for Munitions Might DPS, have you considered Trans card, Strat card and Solar Amp? I've been fiddling around with multiple combinations between the four artifacts (Strat, Trans, Grim and Solar Amp) I've found the above combo seems to provide the best damage. (Loadout: Amplified Heat Vision , Chain Gun, Rail Gun and Small Package when the boss is below 35%) The other combo that comes very close is Trans, Strat and Grim when using a loadout that does not use Amplified Heat VIsion. (Multi Net, Chain Gun, Rail Gun and Small Package) with the Grim providing all the burning PI. Would be interested in your thoughts.
Im might electric dps my arts are tetrahedron 181 my grim is 192 and my solar is 161 my might is 54,580 . Im tired of buffing scoreboard chasers even tho i do a lottt of damage do you think me trading my tetra for the transformation card is a smart idea? Awesome video, thx. If possible, could u pls test source shard, grim, and ur choice of 3rd all at 200 compared to ur recommendations for Sorc and Earth. I think ur underestimating source shard. Adjust it to a rotation where u click on it right before Offering or FG in a 2 min combat scenario. 1st min with pet trinket, 2nd without. U mentioned pets dying, i think the developers take that into account if u take all the situations where u need to follow a game mechanic which prevents u from dealing any dmg while pets never stop fighting. Maybe if they never died, they would be OP. I already have grim, SS, and SotSC at 120. I am planning to replace sotsc during next double art xp. Should i replace with TC or SA?
Let's see what happens to the new artifacts. I am sorcery and I am waiting for that you know to see if my power finally benefits a little since it is not the best as a dps.

It will be still the best main artifacts yes. Solar is needed only for single target with Heat Vision, if you really didn't want to use HV you could remove it but there would be a dmg drop off. Grim is important for Water as you need to setup the crush PI and you have the choice between scrap and strategist for your 3rd. Strategist will still be a great aoe artifact but its really only good at rank 200 where at least if you have scrap you could benefit from it 120-200.
For Quantum Might, would you also use the Strategist card? because I use the Grim, Trans, Solar, and Strategist arts and I didn't see Strategist card listed.
@ObsidianChillDCUO Good morning and thank you for the video. Question, with your Munitions I noticed you are running the Grim. Why run it, if you are also running Solar...as that applies your PI (at 200). Unless you don't use solar in your load out.
I run a might munitions too, do you think the grim is worth it? I run with max solar, 180 scrap and max eog. I dont even use heat vision either, idk if I should add that in instead of the power I have that applies PI
@@isthisnametaken9965 I would definitely try it out. Replace your PI power with Solar as it will apply the PI. I think you will like the results. If you don't like the results, let me know so that I can try what you are doing.

Got both on rank 0 atm so i Need 1 as third artefact. 2) as fire Tank i run eog and mytisc Symbol 7 can i run as third artefact Trans or Strat? Just wonderd if One of them could Work with fire. If you have both at zero Grim will do more damage because the pet damage is based on CR. If you are stuck for a third tank artifact and don't want to level another tank one I would use Strategist for the heal procs, ideally you'd want manacles but if you want to save the money strat will work

GREAT VIDEO!I have fire+rage might dps and i use transf.card+Scepter+heat vision with both and for might just the card(that character is just mah broker for money). But yh..i spent yesterday waay too much to get scepter for 200..man i've spent like 50/60£ and like over 200 in game cash..not to mention the catalists which costed me from Constantine like 150 source m..it is crazy man how much these bloody artifacts costs..i kept buying the perfected xp but even that around 180 it only does 6-7 levels..😔😔 Thats why i hate dc😔 Funny thing is,everybody is happy that the devs did this xp week when in fact they get great amount of money out of this..so they only helped themselves while they acting like they did US a favor..😂

Yo @ObsidianChillDCUO you tested the Artifacts with Earth Might DPS. Solar Amp with Grim Verum, and subbing between Transformation Card and Tetra and Philosophers if so what would u use if you could put on four Artifacts? For Example right what i was thinking for the Four Artifact Slots or Three whatever Solar Amp, Verum, and Tetra, Transformation Card when fourth Slot comes out. The only reason I wouldn’t use scrap and gemini is because in my own personal testing i gain supercharge pretty easy and buffed with compounds and trinket and Supply with Tetra the 5k Supercharge hits way harder around (125k) difference. so its worth the extra 2-5mins to regenerate Supercharge... i just would like to hear your thoughts on this matter

I have what may be a dumb question but why do most of the night based load outs recommend solar amplifier even if you’re not running Heat Vision in the rotation? (Example Rage rotations) The 5% nights great but if it’s ONLY for might Tetra does seem better? Again sorry if this is a dumb question that part just confuses me.
Alot of the might powersets, actually prob about 90% of them require solar amplifier for single target might damage so while you may not need it for AOE, you'd need it for single target so unless you want to level 4 artifacts you would include Solar Amplifier for aoe which still has the highest single might buff. Tetra can be an option but its a group buff, and gets overrides if there is another player with higher stats using it than you.
wish i never wasted marks such low lvl taking forever for queues for marks for gear now lol.. its so expensive for artifact breakthroughs theyre deffo more end game.. imo
Hey I've been playing for 7 months I learned a lot from your videos. But I'm in a bit of a pickle.. Currently i use the solar amplifier which is 200. The Grim which is also 200 , and my transformation card is 160. But I was curious is the eye of Gemini really worth it? I'm rage dps and I thought about getting the eye of Gemini, but it's kind of hard for me to decide which one of the three artifacts should I remove in place of the eye of Gemini. Because I love my heat vision I love my grim and they're both 5% might.. I would assume that the transformation card might be the one I would sacrifice for the eye of Gemini would that be a good choice?
Rage might? Unless you have soul cloak you won't really notice the extra EoG damage because you won't be using Berserk as much. Rage is one of those powers that needs 4 artifacts because grim is good for range and single target but not good for melee compared to another 3. If you find yourself meleeing more you will see better dmg from scrap+eog but you don't use EoG on single or range builds so its spending extra money to be good in certain situations etc
Not sure if you tested this, but let’s say i fill an artifact at 0xp with 5 stacks of the 500 With 2xp that would now be at 495000. Say I don’t breakthrough and leave it at rank 19 If I were to fortify the previously mentioned artifact into a 2nd artifact would it gain all 495000? Or due to not breaking through, it won’t give the full amount? Running out of SM but do have plenty of old artifacts that I haven’t collected. So trying other ways to take advantage of 2xp weekend. Also too scared to test myself.
If you dump extra XP into a 0 artifact it still has all that XP despite it being Rank 19, if you fortify that Rank 19 artifact into a new one *yes* you do get all that xp *during a 2x weekend*

I’m a bit confused though, back when you did the in depth analysis of the Card artifacts you said that the might stat drop for the strategist card made it questionable to use for a might based DPS. But you would still put it in the top 3 artifacts for a gadgets might based dps?
SSG Squidward quick question, even if not at rank 200, the damage done still outweighs might lost? I just can’t bring myself to spend $300 to rank up an artifact, especially during these uncertain times, so mine will probably be sitting between160 -180 for a long time.
JT yes, having it between rank 80 and 200 is worth it, i know getting Artifacts to 200 is a hard & expensive task, but it will help you in the long run.

Bro I watch your videos all the time which i find helpful. But I need to ask why I am Top Dps 1 day then the next I am bottom dps I got beat by fire dps with 100 arts and I use your guide for munitions Grim 120 Trans 180 Solar amp 140 please help me or is DCUO just messed up?
Dpsing isn't always about rotations he could have used his supercharges at a better time or orbitals or trinkets etc. The positioning with muni you may have missed some adds where if he was using fireburst etc he'd hit all of them. With grim you'd only be applying the burning PI to 1 target instead of all of them where fire can always apply pi so that could contribute. There is alot of variables that can happen inside of a raid

Why would you use the transformation card it takes away 21% of ur damage at level 80 what about for the people that can’t just buy xp and catalyst and have to wait and grind it out should we equip it only when we have it a high level?
Even tho you get that damage reduction you still get the full benefit of the crits at level 80, most artifacts are completely useless at rank 80 where transformation isn't Its an artifact that the player can level over time and still be useful compared to like a strategist which isn't good till 200 or a solar/grim that isn't good till 160

Fire Might DPS, I’m confused. Why would I need Solar Amp on Melee and Range when I don’t use Heat Vision, and Grim on Single Target when I AM using Heat Vision?
Solar has the highest might stat out of any of the artifacts, you are using it for stats, strategist card which you had leveled for melee is not that good on single target so you can sub in the grim for the passive dmg that increases with CR and not artifact level
Quick question if I become legendary once the subscription ends if I have a character that has a DLC power will I have access to it still also I purchased 4 armories will I still have access to them
You would still keep your character, if you tried to change powers after a subscription some powers would be locked then but if you switch and then it ends nothing changes, you will still have armory access because you paid for them.

I maxed 2 artifacts yesterday, 1 being the solar amplifier. At 200 I saw it applied Empowered channelling, I thought it applies to all powers that use channeling? In the video it says "grants highest might base stat and empowered channeling mod to heat vision" I guess what I'm asking is does it apply to heat vision or to all channeling powers?

I had a shit ton of XP I been collecting since last double XP was like 7 months ago. I raised eog to 200 and solar to 200. My scrap is 180 you think that's a nice setup for might munitions?
Oh no, the video came too late. I already leveled 2 artifacts on my atomic tank to 200. Lazarus pit water and Omegahedron so I dont run out of power comboing as tank and can selv res if I would die.
in the past it did when you spammed speed drain to use eog dmg to compete with other users but that meta was in the past and with strat/trans it wins out without having to worry about SC spam

I said grim was trans/strat/vwd were under required so it was basically if you have a grim already leveled and a vwd at 0 you can use grim etc

I run a might munitions too, do you think the grim is worth it? I run with max solar, 180 scrap and max eog. I dont even use heat vision either, idk if I should add that in instead of the power I have that applies PI
@@isthisnametaken9965 I would definitely try it out. Replace your PI power with Solar as it will apply the PI. I think you will like the results. If you don't like the results, let me know so that I can try what you are doing.

I presume arts suggestion is to gain maximum potential, rather than a 'need' per se? Been upgrading Solar and Tetra/Omega for the Might stats (ice).

If you have both at zero Grim will do more damage because the pet damage is based on CR. If you are stuck for a third tank artifact and don't want to level another tank one I would use Strategist for the heal procs, ideally you'd want manacles but if you want to save the money strat will work

they are all the same damage except the bat orbital as they are all based on your generator base mods and the health of the target you are hitting

GREAT VIDEO!I have fire+rage might dps and i use transf.card+Scepter+heat vision with both and for might just the card(that character is just mah broker for money).
But yh..i spent yesterday waay too much to get scepter for 200..man i've spent like 50/60£ and like over 200 in game cash..not to mention the catalists which costed me from Constantine like 150 source m..it is crazy man how much these bloody artifacts costs..i kept buying the perfected xp but even that around 180 it only does 6-7 levels..😔😔 Thats why i hate dc😔 Funny thing is,everybody is happy that the devs did this xp week when in fact they get great amount of money out of this..so they only helped themselves while they acting like they did US a favor..😂

Yo @ObsidianChillDCUO you tested the Artifacts with Earth Might DPS. Solar Amp with Grim Verum, and subbing between Transformation Card and Tetra and Philosophers if so what would u use if you could put on four Artifacts? For Example right what i was thinking for the Four Artifact Slots or Three whatever Solar Amp, Verum, and Tetra, Transformation Card when fourth Slot comes out. The only reason I wouldn’t use scrap and gemini is because in my own personal testing i gain supercharge pretty easy and buffed with compounds and trinket and Supply with Tetra the 5k Supercharge hits way harder around (125k) difference. so its worth the extra 2-5mins to regenerate Supercharge... i just would like to hear your thoughts on this matter

I have what may be a dumb question but why do most of the night based load outs recommend solar amplifier even if you’re not running Heat Vision in the rotation? (Example Rage rotations) The 5% nights great but if it’s ONLY for might Tetra does seem better? Again sorry if this is a dumb question that part just confuses me.
Alot of the might powersets, actually prob about 90% of them require solar amplifier for single target might damage so while you may not need it for AOE, you'd need it for single target so unless you want to level 4 artifacts you would include Solar Amplifier for aoe which still has the highest single might buff. Tetra can be an option but its a group buff, and gets overrides if there is another player with higher stats using it than you.

Hey I've been playing for 7 months I learned a lot from your videos. But I'm in a bit of a pickle.. Currently i use the solar amplifier which is 200. The Grim which is also 200 , and my transformation card is 160. But I was curious is the eye of Gemini really worth it? I'm rage dps and I thought about getting the eye of Gemini, but it's kind of hard for me to decide which one of the three artifacts should I remove in place of the eye of Gemini. Because I love my heat vision I love my grim and they're both 5% might.. I would assume that the transformation card might be the one I would sacrifice for the eye of Gemini would that be a good choice?
Rage might? Unless you have soul cloak you won't really notice the extra EoG damage because you won't be using Berserk as much. Rage is one of those powers that needs 4 artifacts because grim is good for range and single target but not good for melee compared to another 3. If you find yourself meleeing more you will see better dmg from scrap+eog but you don't use EoG on single or range builds so its spending extra money to be good in certain situations etc

Have 140 Grim and 120 Solar/Soul. Is it worth to scrap soul and get Trans for Quantum?
Not sure if you tested this, but let’s say i fill an artifact at 0xp with 5 stacks of the 500
With 2xp that would now be at 495000.
Say I don’t breakthrough and leave it at rank 19
If I were to fortify the previously mentioned artifact into a 2nd artifact would it gain all 495000? Or due to not breaking through, it won’t give the full amount?
Running out of SM but do have plenty of old artifacts that I haven’t collected. So trying other ways to take advantage of 2xp weekend.
Also too scared to test myself.
If you dump extra XP into a 0 artifact it still has all that XP despite it being Rank 19, if you fortify that Rank 19 artifact into a new one *yes* you do get all that xp *during a 2x weekend*
Was wondering Why you post 4 Artifacts if there is only 3 slots?
not all situations call for the same 3 artifacts, ideally you would want 4 to sub out artifacts depending on the situation

I’m a bit confused though, back when you did the in depth analysis of the Card artifacts you said that the might stat drop for the strategist card made it questionable to use for a might based DPS. But you would still put it in the top 3 artifacts for a gadgets might based dps?
JT yes it lowers overall stats for might damage but because the crits hit soo hard it makes up for the damage loss
JT keep in mind crits hit very often so you are still doing a lot of damage in between your attacks.
SSG Squidward quick question, even if not at rank 200, the damage done still outweighs might lost? I just can’t bring myself to spend $300 to rank up an artifact, especially during these uncertain times, so mine will probably be sitting between160 -180 for a long time.
JT yes, having it between rank 80 and 200 is worth it, i know getting Artifacts to 200 is a hard & expensive task, but it will help you in the long run.

depends who you ask, it can go either way. VWD has better potential for damage because supplies, neo venom etc can impact it

you can run robot sidekick if you prefer but ice has snow devil which will do more damage for ice

Dpsing isn't always about rotations he could have used his supercharges at a better time or orbitals or trinkets etc. The positioning with muni you may have missed some adds where if he was using fireburst etc he'd hit all of them. With grim you'd only be applying the burning PI to 1 target instead of all of them where fire can always apply pi so that could contribute. There is alot of variables that can happen inside of a raid

Why would you use the transformation card it takes away 21% of ur damage at level 80 what about for the people that can’t just buy xp and catalyst and have to wait and grind it out should we equip it only when we have it a high level?
Even tho you get that damage reduction you still get the full benefit of the crits at level 80, most artifacts are completely useless at rank 80 where transformation isn't Its an artifact that the player can level over time and still be useful compared to like a strategist which isn't good till 200 or a solar/grim that isn't good till 160

Fire Might DPS, I’m confused. Why would I need Solar Amp on Melee and Range when I don’t use Heat Vision, and Grim on Single Target when I AM using Heat Vision?
Solar has the highest might stat out of any of the artifacts, you are using it for stats, strategist card which you had leveled for melee is not that good on single target so you can sub in the grim for the passive dmg that increases with CR and not artifact level

Quick question if I become legendary once the subscription ends if I have a character that has a DLC power will I have access to it still also I purchased 4 armories will I still have access to them
You would still keep your character, if you tried to change powers after a subscription some powers would be locked then but if you switch and then it ends nothing changes, you will still have armory access because you paid for them.

I maxed 2 artifacts yesterday, 1 being the solar amplifier. At 200 I saw it applied Empowered channelling, I thought it applies to all powers that use channeling? In the video it says "grants highest might base stat and empowered channeling mod to heat vision" I guess what I'm asking is does it apply to heat vision or to all channeling powers?
no, it only works for heat vision. You'll have to have empowered channeling in your hands for any other powers

in the past it did when you spammed speed drain to use eog dmg to compete with other users but that meta was in the past and with strat/trans it wins out without having to worry about SC spam

Super charge neo-venum boost. Robot sidekick. I clip sacred light into blessing and can clip then to bottle city soder. Clip divine light to annoint.
