Ive been playing nb khajiit tank since 2016 to 2019 when i quit playing. That was the most fun thing to play for me. I came back recently and i cant stop switching between mag and stam dps nb, is so fun.
Small discrepancy I noticed. You said that Killers blade is not as powerful as executioner. Executioner scales across the range from 50 to 0% but Killers blade deals an instant 300% bonus damage as soon as you hit 24% health. This means it has to go all the way down to 12 and a half percent health before it even hits as hard as killers blade. I would have to do the math to see how much benefit you're getting using it at 50% but usually you would use another spammable instead. I think the biggest strength of a Nightblade is during execute and the class ability is much more powerful than the two-handed ability. Nuances like these can make a pretty big difference in overall build design and performance. All that being said I do enjoy the video and really appreciate you breaking everything down all at once
@@benstevenz honestly anything you want lol but me personally I think Killers blade is very powerful. You may find the impale morph to be better just because you can do it at range which may be a common thing at execute while you're trying to avoid high damage mechanics. But once again the tooltip says that you don't get any increased damage until they fall below 25% health so up until that point you're going to want to continue your normal rotation and spammable and if you wanted to be really specific about it you got to do a lot of calculation and testing to find out when it becomes more powerful than the other abilities. I suppose if you really wanted to kill stuff fast with really high health you could swap both of them LOL and switch to executioner as soon as they hit 11% or 12% Health XD but I think the buff that you would lose on your bar from for instance having a Fighters Guild ability would probably make that less worth it unless you just desperately needed a rapid execute
Just started ESO as a Nightblade because traditionally I’ve been a roguish character (shoutout WoW) all my life. This video got me through that initial barrier to entry phase, keep up the phenomenal content cheers mate
@@Deltiasgaming this really helped me making my build but I have a question. How do people become hidden so fast that it could almost look instant when they crouch? For me it takes 3-4 seconds to become hidden even when invisible. Do you know how I could become hidden faster?
I can always count on you Deltia! You do a phenomenal job explaining where each skill excels! Always my go to when i feel like coming back to the game!
NB! My favorite. Thank you for the guide! I like NB but not the stealth playstyle. However, NB is my main, and Shadowy Disguise skill is great for questing. ;)
@@Deltiasgaming Lately, playing ESO has helped me forget about work and just how crazy it's becoming. So watching helpful videos like yours is great and I appreciate that you do this for myself and others who struggle within the game when it comes to making an effective build for our characters.
I challenge you good sir. Pick any two five piece craftable sets purple quality only. At least five pieces medium. Base game monster helmet only purple quality only. Mythic no mythic your choice. Templar, sorcerer, nightblade your choice. Prefer sorcerer. Can you make it viable in PvP. Ps love your videos man. Always helpful
Awesome video, thanks a lot! Btw should I still use some of the skills that use magicka even though I'm a stamina nightblade? Also can you please name the skills in the first and second bar of the pve stamina build at the end of the video?
I feel like that croc helm and shoulder are needed for nb with their innate buffs and a mix of mag and stam skills it can buff both for great burst dps. Edit: race against time on a vamp nb is op.
One place where I think the nb shines is actually doing 2-man content. It's like a DPS that's off-tank and fake heals. Dark Cloak and Siphoning Strikes keep you alive and your resources high. With all the defensive buffs and heals going on, you won't miss a healer, and you still have plenty of slots left. Yes, you do need to run one-handed so you have a taunt and major/minor breach, and at that point you're probably also backbaring an ice staff to proc Crusher with Wall of Elements. Your goal is to absorb as much of the tank role without compromising DPS so that your ally can go max DPS. Gear both of your companions as healers, they're good at prioritizing your health and they also make nice cannon fodder. That's still leaves 6 of your slots and both ults wide open, a ton of flexibility for your play style. When tanking, I like a gap closer bc it allows me to aggro the mob before the ranged DPS starts going pew-pew, and the Minor Vuln from Lotus Fan is much preferable to 1H Shield Charge. I also like having a ranged interrupt as tank, in case I see some far off enemy doing shenanigans and tanks are usually interrupters anyway what with all the bashing, and Crushing Shock is pretty convenient for that. Finally, that class execute skill sure does come in handy when you have no weapon execute skills. Since you're 2-man with AI healers, Sap Essence is great. You get the damage boost and some extra heals for your ally, reducing the need for AI healers. Your ally probably still needs their own oh-shit heal slotted but they have flexibility in using anything, maybe they can get by with just potions. If you need more defense, Mirage. If you need more offense, Merciless Resolve and slot Flawless Dawnbreaker for the ult. Want more crowd control? Mass Hysteria *no longer has a cap* so it's great for trash, and your options are wide open otherwise (Silver Leash to help stack enemies in AoE, Caltrops to breach mobs, etc). Need more sustain? Slot Incap Strike. Want more ultimate? Slot Soul Harvest. imo, nb has the most flexibility for a 2-man team and allows the other team member to go as full force on DPS. Yes, you lose a significant portion of DPS by being a hybrid tank, but you're still way stronger than a pure tank. S Tier - hybrid Tank/DPS PvE
Does nightblade use robe and staf and full magica or what do i need? Or is there a otther class with high damage useing robe staff and all points set on magic?
I've heard that a million times about executioner... Even my skill description in the game says it... But my executioner doesn't start until 24 percent... I've used it tons of times and not once did it start at 50 percent... I used to expect it to... Then I thought maybe it was due to lag... Then It just became a wish... Then I just took the skill points back and put it towards a new skill... Unless it's a boss with over a million health, I don't really see the point in any skill that doesn't start until under 25 percent... When a light attack out of stealth and one surprise attack yields about 30 to 20 percent with a good build in pvp, one more surprise attack does literally the same thing AND leaves a slot open for something else... I don't know... I just really think execution skills are overrated... five lights, or two heavies and one light gives the spec bow way more damage than I've ever gotten out of executioner or killer's blade... And that starts at 100 percent health...
Do you stream anywhere besides Twitch? I have to just boycott Twitch from now on. I have had nothing but problem after problem trying to use that garbage website.
Every class shouldn't have every ability. Else why would you choose one over the other? DPS should be king of DPS, healer should be king of healer, tank should be king of tank. Yes that would hinder solo play but isn't that the way it should be?
Your terminology is talking about class. This game's Mantra is play how you want, and any class any role. DPS healer and tank are not a class. You will find that depending on your experience, the situation, the group and many other factors, any of the classes can do better in a given role than the other. A lot of the reason that current roles seem to be for each class has more to do with the way the majority of people are playing and less to do with the viability of each class. Only thing wrong with all of this choice is that you have to communicate more to make effective groups

Heck yeah! Used the stamblade build and easily get 10/0 k/d in battlegrounds. would recommend.

this series is incredible! thanks for putting so much effort into this. may i hope for something similar for the skill lines at some point? :)
Decent way to sum up the class. I like that we know that you hate shadowy disguise yet you were able to spin it elegantly
LOL this is true.

The nicest thing about Nightblade is having Major Resolve effect without having to slot a Major Resolve ability.
I was waiting for this one so much!
I gotta say the mag blade does have some crazy sustain in pve with 1.8k Mag regeneration without any buffs yet it’s so nice

So many amazing skills I need more buttons I’m too used to FF14 😂

@3:22 what attack is that? The spinning one?

I wanna see your stamblade dps parse?
08:02 it decreases aoe damage taken not increases btw ;)
When do you breathe bud?
22:00 Pillar daggers and...berserking jewelry?
why?
So can you help me figure out how to make a Deadpool build in this game ESO???

Yep I've already taken like 3 breaks yet I'm still playing 😅
Whoa whoa whoa, nightblade has the best cc in the game, mass hysteria works 10 times better than choking talons.

I’m debating should I make a wood elf nightblade and is it good in pve and pvp?
Ik really late but wood elf stamblade is good for pvp
2 piece Nirn and 3 piece Berserking Warrior for PVE DPS? Is that a typo or am I missing something
Typo of course, go with Pillars of Nirn as it's easier ot maintain.
So mag NB pvp isn’t good. And I should try mag necro?
Anyone reply? Lol
Why is Caluurion in use for pvp? Thought, that we don't need critical chance there. I am confused now, because I am very beginner player of pvp
Because you can use your cloak to guarantee a crit out of stealth thus procing it whenever you want for big opener.

Anyone can explain why you would choose dual over 2h?
2h has extremely good skills while dual has 90% garbage
can someone please explain to me why you HAVE to use a staff on a nightblade? I mean it's called NIGHTBLADE not NIGHTSTAFF.
I really miss health based healthy offering. *Sigh*
