I’ve played a stamblade exclusively for the almost 9 years now. I watched this video twice because it is packed with really good info. The thing I love about NB is that it is a very nuanced class. There are so many trade offs between skills used, skills slotted, food/potion, gear, mythics, monster set , etc etc AND playstyle. I puts off some players who really just want a simple build they can work toward and be BiS. One NB build can be godlike for one player and garbage for another. This video was great. Showing all the class skills and how they synergize with the passives and what you are trying to accomplish. Most look at the damage and build for that. Me included. But now with the endless archived and the scaling damage in there it’s time to look at the defensive side and trade some damage for survivability. See all this and you commentary I am going to adjust my glass cannon for the EA using what you showed here. So. Thanks for a great break down and would love to see things from other skill lines like fighters, vampire, WW and how the NB kit affects them. Cheers!
@@135Jaeger531 in EA I use more defensive skills and gear for later stages. I even use the armor potions. Same for any damage shields. So far just my back bar bow and DW front bar weaving surprise attack is enough damage for the first 4 arcs. I don’t go past the 4th for very long solo.
I like this style of training video the best. some of your others I can't really watch like your dragon knight one all you do is stand in one spot looking at your character and talk. This video in this format, is much much much better.
The heal on swallow soul & funnel health only has approx. a 150 point difference per tick. You can apply it to multiple enemies at once significantly multiplying the hot per second. I point this out because I didn't know this originally & its something that isn't commonly pointed out. For those who want to use a ranged build, you can use either morph as your main spamable & proc on several targets when they are there. Makes for a very, very powerful health sustain in dungeons.
Zaan is so good on nightblade(merciless resolve) Lining up reapers mark mob for 10%dmg>reapers mark boss >bb weap enchant>lotus fan>barbed trap>sap ess>light attack proc zaan after 3 or 4 ticks throw in incap strike! Final 5 ticks hit at least 8 or 9000 with 10th tick had recordbreaking 14000. Its demanding on you organziational skill though. Using 5light2medium sorrow/bashei double sorrow staff
naturally I got a gatherer nightblade with darloc brae and adept rider and ring of the wild hunt to infinite cast invisibility in sneak and still have max speed. Very nice when I just want to get to various points unbothered. I did also a few runs with a nightblade tank I really loved was a setup with Turning Tide, Arkasis' Genius and Nazaray. I reduced my potion cooldown with enchants and had a mix of infused and Swift jewelry so that I can consume a potion every 30 seconds for Arkasis and get 64 ult on every drink (+44 for the rest of the team). Then on bosses I proc minor and major cowardice with my class skills, get a frost clench for major maim and chilled proc for minor maim and minor brittle, get my turning tide on for major vuln and my ambush for minor vuln if I can fit it in. After all this throw in my ult with Nazaray to get every single one of those debuffs extended. The rest of the time I'm running from pack of adds with refreshing path and my extra speed from Swift jewellry to use void bash and mass hysteria and control add groups quickly while the rest of the team can borrow my paths to follow along. Really love running that in more casual dungeon runs.
Tried joining guild VC to meet people keep seeing the error message that the VC channells are down "possibly due to maintenance" Takes me longer to type on Xbox in chat than it does to complete the main story line (lol) :(
I just started up a new character as I’m only 487 cp. I went into zone chat asked for a crafter and had a crafter make me an all purple set of hundings rage and new moon with dual wield daggers and a great sword for free. They even gave me soul gems, food, and potions. Most people that have been playing for a long time will just hook you up for something to do haha
@@Regu1arGuy oh yeah, player base is awesome. I'm more talking about not knowing what is even going on around you lol. Like i joined a starter guild and people are super helpful but even when I get help from people idk whats going on. All the youtube guides are helpful but like 3hrs each just to learn one little thing at the level you need to be competitive in PvP or to learn what to do in PvE. I feel like you had to jump on this game at launch to really know whats going on. If you dont want to spend a semester studying that is. I'm not saying I wont put in the effort, just that it's extremely new player unfriendly.
It's not you just gotta stick with it, the journey feels really good as you get to know more. The guild communities are incredible and very helpful also
If u don’t mind me asking, but what other set that compliment with soulcleaver set? I am looking for magblade pvp, but it seem I’m still having trouble dealing dmg to other players. It barely do anything but losing some ULTS numbers. If I sacrifice my survivability for even more dmg, then I won’t last with a single hit. Ty for the vids, I did learn a lot about nightblade.
When this game was going to come, I thought to myself omg i can finally play skyrim(elderscrolls) with others, with actual humans! Instead of mpc's. But now the world just seems limited to combat.
After viewing another Night blade build I've realized I had all the wrong morphs. The guy in the other video cursors over the skill bar, and when his skills are hovered over the text blocks the vertical list, so I can't see whats morphed. Some folks don't play one main toon and know the skills by heart :-) Thus I appreciate your video. I am currently running a terrible 2Haxe,bow briarheart armor, spriggans weapons, iceheart helm set. and the character seems too fast for 2H but it's fun, idk. I just got 6 DLC's and about to get Greymoor with this sale, so yeah Thanks for making my life a little easier sir.
hi dude, I know every RUclips content creator has already done it, but I have followed you for some years (even tho I do not play ESO) and I wanted to know your opinion about whether is it worth or not playing ESO in 2023, and by that I mean the late game, Ping(ms) (I'm from Brazil and here is pretty laggy), PVP and builds balance state, if the game has decent updates and if the company cares about the community
im not new - ive been playing eso since the beta - but i have such a bad eye for skill synergy in anything thats not something like mtg/hearthstone/gwent, but im so sick of netdecking. its not satisfying, and part of the fun of rpgs is building your character. thanks!
It's a Class Guide. To teach people about the CLASS. It's not a build guide. Builds have weapons, Classes do not. I swear some of you are denser than wet sand...... "bro" Secondly. MagBlades didn't use daggers for years. So I guess none of those were real Nightblades huh?

What did you end up changing?

Love these class walk throughs.
omfg, Ive been playing NB for years (intermintently) and I just learnt that shadow cloak fades if I sprint!!!
👍 love these class guides
tyvm for the guide it helped me increase my liking for the greatsword.

Loved this video but I’m still new to this and have no idea what class to fully commit to yet
Hanx! This finally got you an abo from me ;)
Speaking of NBs, you sitting on any of those sweet one bar builds for stamblades?
My favourite class.

I might try this set up tbf, I was getting mixed results from my NB Tank
Boutta make a teleport build with the ambush, shadow clone, and hidden blade with shadow cloak for the guaranteed crit lol
This game is way too much for a new player with no friends...

To me, the Magblade feels very much like a Vampire Rank than a class unlike the stamblade. All depending on the build ofc.
How did you get your Argonian to be a skeleton

I just started ESO. Trying a Bow Knight blade and resto staff support build. Anyone ever try anything similar?
What is the red glow on your arms?

How do you feel about nightblades as tanks?
Any chance we get a one bar bow build for NB?
Is it possible to go Magic/Stam night blade
Beer and cake in the chat

Nightblades should be stam duel blades and bow....

Nigthblade without daggers isn´t a nightblade broo, =(
