- I went for a walk on the first day that I got my Blackmagic CC6kFF. Join me as I share my thoughts on the image, the capabilities and the quirks that come with this camera.
Long time Sony user, but a blackmagic fanboy I have become.
That shot of the boat leaving and the train crossing the frame, beautiful.
I know right! Like I mentioned, it really made me feel as though life was unfolding right in front of my eyes.
A rare video, that I'm gonna say made me buy this camera!

Great shots and couldn’t agree more as a Canon user in California..it is a tool that allows us full control over the story in a way Canon and Sony chips can’t achieve, they are too close to reality

Beautiful footage. Just a quick correction the camera does shoot 6K 60fps if you go into the 2:4:1 crop on 6K but still get full frame horizontally. In DCI 6K you can go up to 48 fps.
Don’t want any people not familiar with the specs be mishearing things.

2:30 I think you can utilise presets to switch resolutions saving proper framerates. I do so in my studio work. Not just change resolution, but load proper preset.
yes you are right Curt! However, when shooting manual lenses with focal length data, this also changes. So you'd have to make preset for every resolution, for every single lens. Quite cumbersome.
Damn as an ex blackmagic user and a Sony fx user for 2 years now.. I resisted hard not to buy in the promo they had 😢 but after your video, i should have bought in fk 😊 so bored with the sony colors lately as you see the same colors everywhere you watch.
Yeah I had the exact same thing, I got lucky though. I skipped the first day of the offering, and a week later there was the Davinci Resolve Europe Tour, and one reseller had the deal active again that day. Bought it instantly ;)
I have done exactly the same. First I bought a Sony camera, next when I saw such deal on Blackmagic, I've bought it... And it's great!
