Very interesting video. You are doing very well and I wish you would make more videos on different topics about the Nord Stage 4, maybe more videos about the synth engine and creating synth presets. I think many users are overwhelmed with creating their own synth presets because they lack the knowledge. Organ section and piano section are no problem.
Your videos are spot on and so helpful. Can you please do one that covers in depth what was called on the 3 as "Extern" but is approached differently in the 4. Hard to find some detailed step by step process of incorporating this feature. TIA
Thanks for your tutorials. Is there a way to review the current settings (current morph and the values of specific parameters)? Most of the nobs don't have any LED indication like the volume or the drawbars have.
Thanks a lot. One part of it you've answered with the monitoring function. Only what morph assigned to is hard to identify. ruclips.net/video/KG2uieCKrpU/видео.htmlfeature=shared
My top tip is if you're creating TWO complete programs (eg H22 and H23 ) so you switch between two. Maybe adding 2 different synth effects, H22 mouth organ, Horns and strings and H23 is Trumpet and two sets of strings. Good thing is in your H23 set the wheel assign to where it will be physically when you switch ie. so perhaps it's full on ... so set it up the opposite direction, turning off actually makes trumpet louder.
How can you control the octaves of a vst from the Nord stage 4? The Nord has 3 Octave change buttons, and none of them change the octave of the midi controlled VST or DAW software instruments.
Hi Douglas, I have couple of questions... in mono the wurly is fine but when I go to stereo it becomes thin & transparent... wha??? Second, your piano sound is clean, bright & crisp, what are your settings and how are you running the NS4? Thanks & always find you videos informative & entertaining.
Get your copy of my sound packs for the Nord Stage 4 on my website! dsoundman.com/collections/nord-stage-4
Right on. Thanks.
Thanks, Douglas! So helpful!

Thanks! I'll add that to my list!

You also don't have to hold the morph function you can double tap it and it will select the morph function 😀
The symbol for this function is the double arrow next to the button. This way you have both hands free for the controls.
