They are definitely not homogeneous, the regular Chinese you see outside of China are mostly Shouthern Chinese who came from Fujian province. Southern Chinese looks more like Vietnamese, shorter and skin darker than Central and northern Chinese.

Well maybe but he has Chinese heritage in him to. He is 1/8 Chinese. His grandfather looks realy Chinese.
This always reminds me of a Mauritian minister who, after a trip to the UK, came back to Mauritius and said very seriously
