  • Tofu Hamburg is the perfect combination of ground meat and tofu, with the tofu acting as both a binder and keeping the meat soft and juicy. In this video, I'll show you the basic mixture for creating a mouthwatering Tofu Hamburg, as well as a shortcut for the rich and flavorful "demi-glace" sauce to take it to the next level. Not only is this dish perfect for a quick and easy weeknight meal, but the patties also freeze well, making it a convenient option for meal prep too.

    The Ingredients (1-2 servings):
    Hamburger:
    1 block of tofu (300g)
    300g ground meat
    1 cup of panko breadcrumbs
    ½ an onion, chopped
    1 egg
    ½ bullion cube (or ½ tsp powdered stock)
    Salt & pepper
    The sauce:
    4 tbsp ketchup
    2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp sugar
    ½ tsp soy sauce
    ½ bullion cube (or ½ tsp powdered stock)
