Leo's are the BEST! I was born on July 23rd, right on the cusp!! As usual, I'm commenting before the video is over, but am so excited to see, hear, learn about how Kendall & baby are doing. Congratulations, to you all!!!! It's SO EXCITING!!! #OneLovedBaby 👶🍼🍀❤🧡💛💚💙💜👶
JANELLE!!!!! Please post another vlog!!! I love your content!!! I look forward to the Sesh all week too. Love all of you girls!!! From your bestie you don't know he he
You and Kendall are so lucky to have each other. When you made her the basket and cried talking about the baby, it made me wish I had someone like that. Cherish it forever! 💜
Plant time! I too live in Colorado and keeping a garden is tough! How much sun is everything getting? Plants tend to get leggy & stretch when they don't get enough sun. However Colorado sun can get very intense- especially in high heat like we've been getting. I put a light shade cloth over my garden and everything is thriving! Bolting (growing a flower stalk) typically happens when temperatures get too warm for herbs (especially with cilantro). If those were my herbs I would dig them up (be careful not to disturb the roots very much), pot them, and try growing them inside. Underwatering and overwatering tend to show the same signs- droopy leaves and yellowing- make sure the soil isn't still wet when you water. Best of luck 🌱
It’s so relieving how such a beautiful baby girl can get welcomed into such an amazing family. All of you are so great and I’m so happy for all of you🥹❤️
Hey Janelle, for your herbs you could have added more to your raised bed to have it be more full and then you’ll get more out of it. Cilantro is hard to keep alive in the summer since it bolts so fast. Try growing it in the spring and in the fall. You’ll need to have more then one plant to get a decent amount from it. For your tomatoes you want to prune the suckers essentially in the arm pit area of the main stem and the leaf. You also want to prune the bottom branches of your tomatoes for better airflow and your tomatoes will ripen faster. I’m an urban farmer and beekeeper in Chicago, it will be my pleasure to answer anymore questions you have.
So sweet! You care about Kendall so much! You guys are so lucky to be so close. 💓 Happy belated birthday by the way! Hope you had an awesome birthday 🎂 🥳
Yay for another pasta recipe!! You should totally try sushi, just get sushi rice and a sushi mat on Amazon to roll it. You’ll be obsessed how easy and cheap it is. Also YAYYY for Holly and Leo szn 💘💖💗 also my dill is the same way this year and no clue why. For your tomatoes, prune the suckers you mentioned (they grow in the armpits on the branch and stem!!
I love how much you love Kendall and Josh 💜💜 you are too precious Janelle 💜💜 NGL I don’t know you all of course but I cried a bunch when I found out Kendall was pregnant and when baby girl was born it’s like being so happy for your long distance homies 💜lol
Hey Janelle! Hope you’re doing well. I believe the reason why your herbs are not growing as expected is the amount of sunlight they’re getting. They need indirect sunlight, a little shade is recommended. Also, if the temperature drops significantly during the night it can affect herbs as well.
Yes! Second this! I’m not *super* familiar with herbs but they looked a tad burnt to me. Also with one flowering but not growing as expected made me think just too much direct light :)
I work at a grow and we do a process called “defanning” where the growers strip off the bottom plants and stems so that all the nutrients goes to the good buds and shoots straight to the top instead of trying to spread it out throughout the plant and everything getting lower nutrients in general
Prune the branches growing in the “arm pits” of the main branches of your tomatoes and any branches that are touching soil. Branches touching soil can increase pest pressure and increase chance of disease
I have acne-prone skin (ever since the ripe age of 10), previously a lot of cystic, was put on Acutane twice and my skin still has it's moments (usually most prominent around my period but also during season changes - so August and September are testy skin months). I'm almost 27 and thought my hormonal acne would have subsided by now or at least have been kept at bay with my anti-inflammitory dairy-free/ meat-free diet, and prescription topicol skincare but nah she's here for the long haul😂It definitely doesn't bother me as much as it did during my adolescent years but still sucks nonetheless because of society making me feel this way. Long story short is that I really appreciate when people feel comfortable enough to talk about their experiences and make it feel more normal/relatable, especially for people who experience adult acne. You and the Sesh Crew are balls of warm fuzzy comfort feels and I appreciate having your content to go to as a means of unwinding. I didn't realize August was your 2 year anniversary and I actually remember taking a photo in 2020 at the end of summer when I had just finished moving into my new apartment at the time. During my unpacking process I had come across your podcast and was able to watch a couple of episodes back to back since you already had a few episodes out. I'll send the pic on Twitter but you guys helped me make my new place feel like a home. I've since moved but anywhere I am I always have that sentiment while having the podcast to listen to. I know so many fellow seshies exclaim their appreciation but I just wanted to continue the trend and say thank you for all that you and the Sesh fam (and Mile Higher Company* !!) do 🥰
I have the same problem with my acne. Been like this for a couple years now. Makes me sad when it gets so bad. I just started a new medication for it and I hope it does something
Hey janelle! I know you probably have so much going on with the company and podcasts but just wanted to say I hope your doing well and enjoying being a new auntiee! Also I miss your content and cant wait for you to post again, you are one of my favorite content creators because you are just real and your day to day is so relatable and fun to watch! Also it would be so fun to see some recommendations of places around CO you love to go to, I may be traveling there soon. (any cool shops, restaurants, sights...). Your the best, keep it fresh :) !
Hi Janelle, Happy belated b-day! Dill needs TONS of water and dries out quickly. It's okay that it's tall & thin - that's kinda normal. Pick the leaves and use them now. Pick the seeds, gently press into the soil and water them for your next season's harvest. Once the seeds are brown-ish you can grind them up and use them with cukes ( to make pickles) and other stuff. I have found that packing straw around the plant helps kerp the water in. The flowers are edible, too. BTW, Do you have a PO box?
OH MY GOD YOURE THE CUTEST!!! You’re gonna be such a great auntie to baby holly 😭😭 it was so precious to watch you wait for her🥹 we love you all so much and send alllll the positive vibes to the whole fam❤️🫶🏻
Fun fact orchids can live for 100+ years, they also naturally hang upside down…. That why when we get them they are held up by sticks for support because gravity is working against instead of with them now…. I LOVE 💕 orchids
You need to plant more cilantro plants. One plant will not be enough for you to cook/use it. You can buy seeds, soak it overnight and place them into the herb bed.
Both my cilantro and basil failed this year as well! My mom is a garden master and she couldn’t even get them to thrive, so it was probably a situation where the seeds were junk. Not all seeds are created equal 🤷🏼♀️. You might find you have better luck starting by transplanting an established plant and maintaining that vs starting from seed. That’s what I ended up doing. As far as seeds go, there has been an unusual amount of issues this year with bunk seeds from many different supplies, affecting a large variety of fruits/veggies. Crops that we’ve grown with great success several years over were pathetic this year, and some never even sprouted. It’s so frustrating when you dedicate the time, money and TIME (so. much. time. lol) into a home garden just to have certain elements fail 😥. Also, FWIW- herbs will do better in smaller containers. That large, gorgeous, raised garden bed you have is actually way too big for a handful of herb plants. One of the perks of growing herbs is they really don’t need much space at all 😊 As far as your cherry tomato plant that looks kinda dead-ish (yellowish-white w/a little bit of brown), as best as I can tell from the vid, it looks like it may be getting over watered. Over watering is nearly as bad as under watering….plants are soooo picky! 😫 My last thought with that plant, is if it’s crazy hot outside you want to be sure to water the dirt, not the plant. What I mean is, you want to take care to direct the water into the dirt at the base of the plant, and not just spray water over the whole plant. As strange as it sounds, it can actually burn the leaves when you do that, which makes the plant look bad and the appearance subconsciously makes you think it’s under watered although that’s unlikely the case. Good luck with your garden moving forward! It’s so rewarding when you finally work out the kinks and are able to start harvesting some of your own produce!
I am so jealous that CO allows visitors in the woman's center. In GA were only allowed 2 support people & no switching out... and they can only leave one time.
When cilantro flowers it will die back, awesome thing is that it will eventually seed and you can plant it in the same bed and it will come out again. Cilantro is not really a herb that grows forever. You also need to check for pests, and also you need to be sure that your soil is well aerated & also some herbs thrive in different types of soil. You need to be sure that you water each Herb according to their watering needs, for example Rosemary does not require a lot of water whereas Basil is a Herb that loves regular watering. Some herbs also do not like any fertilizer. Also with your skin, its not about what you put on your skin, but more about what you put inside your body so basically what you eat because sadly water does not fix the damage we do to our bodies through what we consume
Awww I started crying when you did. It's so exciting watching someone you're so close to going through something so happy. Yes, I love sushi leftovers! I love sushi at all times 🍣 🍣 🍣
Yes, I eat left over sushi! I’m so happy your vlog came out today- seriously it’s the best thing I watch on RUclips. But go at your own pace and don’t get burnt out. I’m just happy to get to watch all your adventures.
Hey new Auntie!!! Happy belated birthday!! I see everyone eating those crumbl cookies and I have been so jealous because they look fire! I did a search just for shits & giggs to see if there was a crumbl anywhere near where I live. Well, let me tell you - a new store was just built about 15 minutes from my home. I literally almost peed my pants!! I live in northern Indiana and I thought crumbl stores were only like on the west coast & surrounding areas. I can't wait to get my hands on a cotton candy cookie!! Well, I hope you had a great birthday Janelle! Take care!
Hope you had a great birthday!! The sesh celebration looked like a blast! That orzo pasta you made looked fire, going to have to give that one a try. Thanks!!
Your Roma’s are beautiful!!good job, You should pick the tops off of all your herbs they should be picked often (basil should be picked from the bottom) and it will stimulate new vigorous growth. Oh I wish I could come over and help. ❤️ PS you can put your asparagus bottoms in a vegetable stew it’s delicious. 👍🏻 Thankyou for the upload 💚.
Omggg the Tajín segment at the end!! I freaking LOOOVE tajín. I put it in my fish tacos. I love it with pepino and lemon, or if I don't have tajín then I eat the pepino with lemon and salt. I also love tajín with jícama!! I also grew up on the Vero paletas that come in the shapes of sandia, piña, mango, and elote and they all have a thick coating of tajín 😋😋😋
I hate when that happens to my skin too! A lot of times I get worse acne if I have a lot of dairy so if I know I have something comming up that I want my skin to look really good for I’ll go on a vegan protein smoothie diet for a few days and it clears it right up! Also hero acne patches are AMAZEBALLS you NEED to try them if you haven’t!!! 💙 love your nails also!!! :)
Happy birthday!!!! 🎂 For the big pimples I always use pimple patches overnight and they work wonders! Especially on the ones that won't pop, it just pulls all the junk out. And yes I eat leftover sushi too 😋 😄
Your dill may not be getting enough sunlight, or maybe it is getting some sunlight but only from the top and not from the sides. Plants reach for the light in the direction in which it is receiving it so if it is tall and skinny that may be the case. Hope that helps!!!
Honestly sushi is something I used to hate and am just coming around to. I hope we can still be friends😂 also you’re already such an amazing aunt!!! I’m honestly not sure what’s up with the herb bed, but the tomato plants definitely need pruned. I would say the best way to do it is keep the main branches with leaves that get the most sun and cut any that are growing towards the middle of the plant or just aren’t getting sun. You’re doing amazing! The weather this year has been wack, not my best year either 🤷🏻♀️
DUDE I am a trash gardener but I have had a crap harvest this year too and my dill died like 2 days after I got it I think from the heat…. I’m from MO but right there with ya girl friend…. Also your videos give me life 😭❤️ try pruning your basil above the baby buds I did that once and it went crazy
Hello Janelle, I empathize with your acne struggles. I went through similar phase few years ago and I hope you would not mind me sharing my experience and what I learnt. It might help you. First of all, judging by the acne that I saw in the video and you mentioning that you can't pick them, it seems to me that you might have cystic acne. Cystic acne is extremely painful, almost impossible to pick and usually leaves lots of scarring and spots :(. I had this type of acne for few months when I was 28/29 years old. I consulted with dermatologist but honestly it did not help a lot. They guy decided that I have oily skin and prescribed me cosmetics and pills to deal with this. I knew that my skin was not oily, it was highly sensitive, it would get red and itchy rather easily. Do you feel that your skin is sensitive? I did see some redness in the video. Anyway I ignored this advice and continued doing my own research. I can conform something a person posting below mentioned - cystic acne is indeed linked to compromised skin barrier. I would also mention that BHA is more linked with compromised skin barrier than AHA. Compromised skin barrier leads usually to dehydrated skin. Dehydrated skin would be sensitive to touch and cosmetics in general and would overproduce sebum to compensate the lack of water. Compromised skin barrier also means that bacteria enters your skin easier, thus more bacteria induced acne. Now that I explained the mechanics I want to say that there is cure for that. It did take me some time to do my research, some patience as it needs time but I managed to recover my skin barrier and nowadays I have no cystic acne (just your usual small spots around that time of month). How did I do it? I turned into Korean cosmetic methods. European and American cosmetics focus on oily and dry skin but not on dehydrated skin. Dehydrated skin needs hydration, but not the moisture that the dry skin needs. And dehydrated skin does not need the BHA (salicylic acid) that usually comes with products for oily skin. Korean skin follows completely different approach - it offers serums and essences specifically to hydrate the skin. You can check this channel for more info - ruclips.net/user/gothamista. She has good advice on how to use retinol and how to mix it with other products. She also does talk about dehydrated skin. If you have already some scarring and dark spots you can turn to Korean cosmetics for this too. Look for stuff that contain Vitamin E (Tocopherol), Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide), Centella Asiatica, Green snail, Arbutin etc. In a nutshell this is what I would advise (if you confirm that your skin barrier is compromised): 1. Use hydration products 2. Use skin barrier building products. I personally used this one - jolse.com/product/skin-watchers-aqua-most-whitening-water-drop-70ml/26068/ . It helps with the barrier and with the dark spots. 3. Temporary stop using any BHA product and Retinol and turn to AHA 4. Try to use as natural products as possible. You can use this site to check products and how safe they are - cosdna.com/ I know that it sounds a lot of work but I promise you it worked for me. Also if you need to ask something feel free to contact me. I know how depressing is to have to handle cystic acne. I would gladly help anyone going through this.
So happy for Kendall and Josh! Btw my parents eat sushi leftover if they have some. I was surprised you did not wash mushrooms before putting them in the pot. I always wash them.
you should try lactic acid from the ordinary and see if that helps unclog your pores. i do that as well as taking spironolactone for my hormonal acne, and it helps so much.
Of course I eat leftover sushi, who would ever throw out sushi?? Tried some of the pasta recipes btw, and they were great, especially that boursin cheese one. 😋 I'm beyond happy for Kendall and Josh. 💜 Holly is so lucky to have you around as she grows up.
Im the sammmmmeeee about picking. Idc whar ANYONE tells me. And when a pimple doesnt pop it drives me crazy. I take care of my skin and it constantly happens to me too. 😒 especially random breakouts on my back. It drives me insane and idk how to fix it.
Awww your such a cute auntie. Your nails look pretty tho. And yes! Idk how people dont pick at their skin. . .also Happy Birthday!! And happy sesh birthday!
I love your vlogs Janelle, when I am feeling lonely or depressed I will watch them all over, you and John should go live dinner, drinks, games, that would be a blast!!
Also just to add I bet Kendall thinks it's weird (in a surreal way) that she had a whole kid grow and come our of her lol (speaking from experience, 9 months later and I still say damn 🤣)
No to sushi leftovers for me..it NEVER tastes the same. And no to the cream cheese in there. Lol! Pepper tuna salmon and scallops are my favs!! And yessss to a tempura fried roll!!
Hope things are OK. I miss your vlogs.
Bring back the vlogs queen!
Aww it's so sweet seeing how excited you were when Kendall was giving birth!! How cool to have another Leo in the pack!!! 💖

When you quoted Kim Kardashian and told the dill to get up and work, I lost it 😂😂😂 Also, thanks for making my bad day so much better!
You and Kendall are so lucky to have each other. When you made her the basket and cried talking about the baby, it made me wish I had someone like that. Cherish it forever! 💜
I thought the exact same thing! So beautiful the relationship they have! ♥️
Guys I literally just cried as soon as Janelle started talking about it. I couldn’t be happier for Kendall. ❤

I also love tajín with jícama!! I also grew up on the Vero paletas that come in the shapes of sandia, piña, mango, and elote and they all have a thick coating of tajín 😋😋😋
I love these long vlogs so much!!! Ty so much for all your efforts bestie 🔥👯♀️
Also, I would like a shirt that says toxic twat. I will wear to work.
I just want a sticker for all four channels! The Sesh, Mile Higher, LOP and Kendall Rae!
And yes I eat leftover sushi too 😋 😄
Happy Birthday Janelle 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈
Hey! I’m late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANNELLE!!! and happy birthday sesh! Lol omg JANNELLE! Your voice is amazing!!! 💜💕
Really had the worst day yesterday and this just cheered me up so much thank you xx
I hope you have better days ahead ♥️♥️
Your dill may not be getting enough sunlight, or maybe it is getting some sunlight but only from the top and not from the sides. Plants reach for the light in the direction in which it is receiving it so if it is tall and skinny that may be the case. Hope that helps!!!
Absolutely loving the vlogs!! I watched half yesterday and now I’m finishing the other half while having breakfast!
You are so sweet ! You’re an amazing friend . Love watching your vlogs. ❤️ love seeing what you make for dinner , you are great 😊
I teared up when you held up the little H 🥹🥹🥹🥹 so freakin cute
In a nutshell this is what I would advise (if you confirm that your skin barrier is compromised):
1. Use hydration products
2. Use skin barrier building products. I personally used this one - jolse.com/product/skin-watchers-aqua-most-whitening-water-drop-70ml/26068/ . It helps with the barrier and with the dark spots.
3. Temporary stop using any BHA product and Retinol and turn to AHA
4. Try to use as natural products as possible. You can use this site to check products and how safe they are - cosdna.com/
I know that it sounds a lot of work but I promise you it worked for me.
Also if you need to ask something feel free to contact me. I know how depressing is to have to handle cystic acne. I would gladly help anyone going through this.
I am extremely stoned right now and the cooking part is very pleasing to my eyeballs and ear holes
So happy for Kendall and Josh! Btw my parents eat sushi leftover if they have some. I was surprised you did not wash mushrooms before putting them in the pot. I always wash them.
Triple antibiotic cream on breakouts!
It works!
Can buy over the counter in first aid section of store 🙂
Janelle, you’re so pretty 🤍 and I love when you show us your cooking!
you should try lactic acid from the ordinary and see if that helps unclog your pores. i do that as well as taking spironolactone for my hormonal acne, and it helps so much.
Lol why did I kinda feel sad when she was mean to her plants 🤣 it’s not their fault their just lil🥺
I thought the same lol
Throw mint in a smoothie with chocolate protein powder and cocoa nibs, it tastes just like a chocolate chip mint shake! also ily
Janelle the website looks SO GOOD! Idk if that is what you were talking about working on but it looks really amazing you are very talented.

Tried some of the pasta recipes btw, and they were great, especially that boursin cheese one. 😋
I'm beyond happy for Kendall and Josh.
