I just cleaned my gutters for the 3rd year with mine and it works just fine. There is one short run of gutter where it can't go under the nails but other than that it's great and save tons of time. Beware those that say it doesn't work if they are selling a service or another product!

My roof starts at 2.4 meters from the ground to the gutter, runs 13.4 meters horizontally, and ends with a 7.25 meter down vertical distance to the ground. Placing the looj into the gutter at the accessable 2.4 meter height seemed logical and was later proven to be the smart end of the gutter to start with.

Just use rotary pellet stove flexible rod sections connect them together to get your length and a brush on a drill. It will do the same thing for less money.

Saw a Looj in mint condition for sale today at a 2nd hand store for $30. I guess it didn't work out for someone.

What about putting a shovel in arm on the other side to to throw over the edge and get the majority of the crap out, and then hit it with the bristles?

you can have mine for the cost of shipping plus $50. I used it once and tried to return it because it's complete crap. I got the extra battery and two auguars. The company said they wouldn't refund because it was used.

Make it work then sell it with a long pole so you don't need a ladder. It can have a wire and loop at the top, so the pole can hook it to retrieve it. Put a video camera at the front so I can see what it is doing. Then sell one to every home owner!

You obviously haven't tried this. It works great. I live in Washington State where my high roof is 22 feet above the ground. Without an expensive rental lift, I cant even get to that gutter. With more than 200 feet per charge, I can get all my gutters in a weekend. This thing shot sludge, leaves, twigs, small pine tree sprouts and muck out of the gutter.
Dont post unless you know what you are talking about.

This is somewhat of a good idea, but the design is poorly thought out and this DOES NOT WORK well at all. Coming from someone who owns my own gutter company, I can assure you that you will never find a gutter with a few leaves just gently lying in the gutter. There are packed in wet leaves, twigs, sticks, seeds, gum ball tree nuts, dead animals, you name it. Not to mention, what happens to all the gunk and crap that a device like this slings over the edge. Now you have to spend even more time cleaning it all up off the ground and spraying it off the edge of your house. Don't waste your time and call a professional company with professional cleaning equipment.

I think calling it a robot is pushing it. That would make any remote control toy a robot.

I have tested the Looj under many conditions. Other than a few loose, dry leaves, the Looj does not remove anything. The smallest twig stops the auger and the looj spins. It is a complete waste of money. Moreover, customer support from iRobot is the worst I have every experiences. My advice: don't waste your money on the Looj.

I bought it when it first came out tried it on my gutters. Being it was "used" they wouldn't take it back. I've owned Best View Services since 1990 and gutter cleaning is one of the things I do. I feel qualified to say this product while has the best intensions is complete crap. Do not waste your money because if you do you will never get it back and your gutters will not get cleaned except by a professional or your self.

But the looj has 2 o's that's gotta count for somfin rite ... (I'm being facetious, just cause something is spelled incorrectly does not make it cool)

Hmmm, I can't help but be cynical and say it'd end up in storage in it's box in the attic, and being sold on eBay 30 years later as a mint condition collectable... or just another item that would end up in landfill and decompose slowly over hundreds of years. Besides, if you bought a gadget for every job that you did around the house you'd need a second house to put all the gadgets in.

I bet 1000000000000$ it doesnt work if your gutters are wet. Which is about 99% of the time.

He keeps calling it a robot. I don't think he knows what the word "robot" means. This is a radio controlled gutter cleaner. There is no autonomy here.
