Me sorprende bastante que esta serie después de mas de 20 años desde que sacaron la bazofia de adult party cartoon de la nada regresen de esta forma, quien sabe si esta serie es buena o no, ya que el humor me recuerda bastante al de bob esponja actual osea, bob esponja se inspiró de ren y stimpy para hacer humor grotesco y ahora pienso que el humor de este reboot sera como el humor actual de bob esponja, osea es la misma cosa pero al revés, la animación parece como como la original combinada con la versión para adultos del 2003 solamente que menos fluida y prepárense porque las escenas mas grotescas que tendra este reboot seran el doble de grotesca por verse por por verse en HD
Well a lot of people criticize SpongeBob for being extra with it's facial expressions and I'd agree, it looks out of place. The vibe of the older seasons is completely gone. Say what you want about this reboot, but the exaggerated facial expressions that we've seen from the leaked intro alone feel right at home with this series rather than SpongeBob. Even though I think SpongeBob should've ended a long time ago, I'd rather them bring back Ren and Stimpy if they are going with that style of animation...
@@TheContinuator From the sites I've saw the news from, it says "delayed indefinitely". Technically it doesn't mean the show is cancelled, but it doesn't sound good. The first episode of the French Dub released too so there's that...Maybe they can use the extra time for marketing and polishing up the rough parts. I'm still remaining hopeful... 🙏🙏
My only concern for this reboot, is that it won't be good. Usually when a show doesn't have it's original creator, it flops. We saw it with The Powerpuff Girls, and The Loud House after their creator was fired. John K did all of this to himself, but I feel like without him, the creator of this duo, it won't be good. Remove Adult Party Cartoon from existence, and when he actually worked on the original Series, it was written pretty well. At least we have Billy West back voicing Ren & Stimpy I believe, but John K hadn't done that horrible stuff, and actually took an adult verison of this show seriously, I think it would get a lot more ratings. That's just me though, but overall, I like the intro. Sadly in Canada, we don't have Comedy Central, but maybe I can keep up with episodes on the Internet.
I saw one of the leaked episodes before it got taken down, and I'm happy to say that it's actually pretty good in my opinion. At least better than Adult Cartoon Party. I wouldn't give John K all the credit because I believe people like Bob Camp was also the reason why the first couple seasons of the show were so memorable. I'm fairly excited for this and wouldn't mind a new interpretation of this franchise as long as it gets the basics right.. 👍
@@Key-Knight87They actually did bring in some of those people for this reboot (Bob Camp, Bill Wray, Jim Gomez, etc), before being pushed out of production by the group of staff writers that are leading the show now (only one of them had actually worked on a cartoon prior, just writing for a few episodes of Big Mouth). According to Wray, it was because they were old men, so they weren’t allowed to write or direct any episodes, none of the other cartoonists onboard were allowed to either. People are allowed to like it or give it a chance, but it does seem like they forgot the important basic of letting the cartoonists actually make the cartoons🫤
Ehh I think the reboot is fine. I'm surprised how much I laughed at this, so I guess the reboot did SOMETHING right. At the very least, it's way better than the last reboot...
@@Key-Knight87 I mean yeah it’s better but it’s also only better cuz it doesn’t just rely on shock value 24/7 as well as not have obnoxiously bad sound design and genuinely uncomfortable implications from its creator if there’s one thing I can give apc over this new reboot is that it was animated super well for the most part, even if it relied too much on over the top goofy faces and shock value for “jokes”
There are so many problems with the reboot, SPECIALLY THE ANIMATION. At one point, it's smooth, but then it's suddenly back to being stiff as hell, for A LOT of parts. The "Adult Party Cartoon" show had pretty spot-on animation at many moments (specially Ren Seeks Help) but it also did have a lot of terrible linework and at some parts, the animation used tweening. Many episodes of the 2024 reboot are also boring as hell. Too much unnecessary filler and barely anything funny happens. I'll say, the only good thing about this reboot is that the title cards are actually pretty well done and that John K. isn't involved, but other than that, the crew refused to let some people from the original show to come back for the reboot, SPECIALLY BOB CAMP, for some of the most terrible reasons you could ever think about. This reboot is just mediocre. Hopefully it doesn't get a renewal.
@@AlephSix66 Omg it's always gotta be "AI this, AI that". Would it hurt to think that humans are capable of making bland, generic stuff? I personally think the reboot's intro is fire. Of course doesn't beat the OG, but I think the goofy vocals make it unique. I'm also happy to say that the classic production music is still being used SOOO....
