- On October 19th, 2023, officers responded to a retail theft. Upon identifying the suspects, police began chasing their vehicle. During the chase, the females crashed their car into oncoming traffic and began fleeing on foot. Soon, the officers were able to catch the second female too. Both of them were charged with resisting arrest, retail theft, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident.

I'll never forget when I had a seizure at the wheel and rear ended a family. I woke up in the car with lights in my face and paramedics asking me a bunch of medical questions. I was beyond confused as I didn't even remember driving in the area I was in when I hit the other car. I eventually got out on my feet. I was asking about the family.. And then I saw their little girl walk around the other side of the car and just about crumbled. The officer who was talking to me told me everyone was okay but just the knowledge I COULD have hurt that little girl broke me on the spot. I can't even begin to wrap my head around her, "they aren't dead! They're fine! I was scared!" lines 🤯

I was run over walking down a sidewalk. They reckless driver had very little insurance. Only 15K. My car insurance paid for my hospital bills. I always keep the highest level of protection. Of course, my insurance went up.
I had someone rear end me and took off they said that they never had found the other vehicle it's hard to believe when there had to be some damage because part of their front bumper was stuck in my trunk lid find the blue car with a missing parts of their front bumper my insurance went up extremely high and there was almost 5grand worth of damage I know what that does to your insurance it ridiculous

@@abottweller LOL, while that was funny, it's also hyperbole. The cops in Oakland, CA. do a wonderful job for what they have to work with. It's the DA/prosecutors office and soft judges who are contributing to the problem by not properly doing their jobs.
@Ifoughtpiranhas agreed. Oakland is a hop, skip and a jump from me, and if the DA's didn't hand plea deals like candy, the judges would be able to enforce strict sentences. But nobody wants to be called out for anything so as not to offend anyone.
