  • I thought it would be fun to do a little more work to our Micro-Trains inspired Halloween, N scale Bad Bayou shadowbox this year. I wanted to go from the box being brown in color to having a more grayish, weathered look to it, complete with moss growing all over the box. Like any train layout or scene, is it ever really finished?
I went back in and stripped to finish and color, then added some decals and moss to the box making it look like it's been long forgotten sitting under a pile of wood behind an old barn out in the country.

Great video!!! Your results are MAGNIFICENT!! How did you accomplish the heavy wooded forests in the background of this shadowbox please?

Where can I find more of your "bad bayou" shadowbox project at? So far, I can't find them here. I would like to build something like this for myself.
