“While it’s a special car, it’s not a 911” shows your incompetence when it comes to 928 knowledge. This car was more comfortable and faster than a 911, so you’re right. It’s not a 911. It’s better everywhere aside from a few seconds on the track and the market is catching on. It’s a better car than the 911 in all but a few categories (steering, weight)

It depends on the car. It can help and hurt. Consider the early 1980s 930 Turbo- In the states, they are generally worth less than the later US spec cars.
