The McIntyre clip is a perfect example of why I love Graham Norton: just a bunch of celebrities having the weirdest conversations and having a laugh even though they've probably only met an hour or less ago.
Definitely a better format than just having one or two elebrities on at a time as most American talk shows... it's cool when a bunch from different places and different professions get to mingle and share stories.

As an American who ADORES Graham Norton, I REALLY wish he would host the Oscars. We have some pretty funny late night hosts (Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert, James Cordon who is really “your” guy to name a few) but Graham is the GOAT and really underrated internationally.
Just loooove how Elijah doesn`t like them messing with this. I am a huge fan of the movies and went to the Hobbiton set twice, I can really understand him :)

As a teacher who's worked with hearing impaired students, I've had similar experiences (not that graphic, but definitely forgetting you have a mic on and talking to other teachers or to yourself, and the students expressions are always so expressive!). So that story was honestly way too relatable 😂

I just love how relaxed and open the celebrities are. Just regular people like every other joe. Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel seem so scripted and stiff when there's just one guest and Kimmel/Fallon. With Graham, they have at least 3 guests and then a music act and it's just like 4-5 mates having a drink at the pub, sharing stories. It's lovely.

(Expecting him to name some hot starlet) He considered for a moment, then said "Ricky Gervais" with a bit of seriousness. When the woman reporter asked "Why him, of all people?" he replied, "Because he makes me laugh!....makes me feel happy"
