True, some guests who are very controlled on other appearances/shows go silly and open on Graham's show. Most guests seem quite relaxed. Maybe they are more generous with the free drinks... 😅 Also, overall it's probably different to be on a british show than american. It's less glossy and more genuine, the audience is less "sensitive".
Even after their death, Joan Rivers and Robin Williams continue to entertain people with their sharp wit and fantastic comedic talent. Thank them for the joy they continue to provide in a world that's sorely in need of some good comic relief. Just being thankful for their legacies and long may people remember them.
Those are IMO the biggest comics from America he had on that show. Nothing like old school usa comics. Don Rickles would have been another amazing guest but since 911 he didnt leave the us as far as I know, what a treat he would have been in the graham Norton show.

I would add George Carlin and Richard Pryor were also great comedians. Johnny Carson, Craig Ferguson and Graham Norton are also the best talk show hosts too, in my opinion.

Seeing Robin Williams so energetic and full of life breaks your heart knowing he was hiding the pain he felt. He was truly one the most talented and charismatic people this world has ever had to offer.
I don’t get how this narrative caught on that he had been suicidal for years. When he killed himself, he had been diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia, he was essentially losing his grip on reality. It wasn’t a case of depression.
it is saddening, but the best way to respect his memory is to remember his joy. he's happy in this video and he's bringing happiness to other people still.
