- I did a walk through downtown Fort Collins, CO a year ago but I ran out of time to film around CSU ( Colorado State University ). So, as I make my way down through Colorado on this road trip to film treadmill walkout scenery for your treadmill workouts, I lucked into a beautiful and frosty winter morning with snow and ice on the ground and few people walking around the campus of this sizeable University. It's a pretty large campus and I really enjoyed filming and exploring. See below for the Wikipedia link to CSU.

Colorado State University (Colorado State or CSU) is a public land-grant research university in Fort Collins, Colorado. It is the flagship university of the Colorado State University System. Colorado State University is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities - Very high research activity".
In 2018, enrollment was approximately 34,166 students, including resident and non-resident instruction students. The university has approximately 2,000 faculty in eight colleges and 55 academic departments. Bachelor's degrees are offered in 65 fields of study, with master's degrees in 55 fields. Colorado State confers doctoral degrees in 40 fields of study, in addition to a professional degree in veterinary medicine.
In fiscal year 2018, CSU spent $375.0 million on research and development, ranking 65th in the nation overall and 39th when excluding medical school spending.[8][9] CSU graduates include Pulitzer Prize winners, astronauts, CEOs, and two former governors of Colorado.

Great walk Henry. Beautiful. I don't do any exercise whilst i am watching your video's. They help with my Anxiety disorder. They help me relax and keep me present in the moment. I am not very good outside around people so i get a taste for outside from my living room.

Hi Henry ! Great walk, big handsome campus. I enjoy these bright winter days you have found for us. My interests are the travel, architecture, infrastructure, culture, nature observations. As you head south I hope to start recognising some places. I tend to spend 20 minutes on a cross trainer. Then rejoin the rest of the walk later in the day. I always enjoy your talk. But quiet walks are fine too. I use noise cancelling headphones and watch on an iPad 12.9 inch or 55” 4Ktv. Cheers, Don ;-)

Hi ! You ask about lens distortion. I am aware of it, if I go looking for it, but because of the gimbal steadiness, constant walking speed and slow panning rate the image always makes perfectly good sense. It is so much more desirable to have the nice wide angle view and the 4K quality, especially when watching on a big screen !! Cheers, Don
Hi Henry, for me it is a travel experience since we still can't travel normally so I do watch a lot of these types of videos. I actually enjoy the commentary as well. I don't do it with my videos but have thought about it a few times. Anyway, great video and have a nice day!

Great walk, very informative. Thankyou for mentioning the buildings etc you walk past. I don't use a treadmill or do fitness but watching these walks is better than watching any series. I could binge watch this esp as I cannot afford to travel and see America. Is there anything you like to see on walks like architecture or old cars, people's gardens?
I actually really like the architecture and old, large homes. I filmed a walk in Colorado Springs (coming up in the next couple weeks) through a wonderful neighborhood with lots of 19th century homes. Ironically, I know very little about architecture. I also like finding murals and public art. In my nature walks, I just love the wonderful views and quietness. Thanks for asking and I"m so glad you enjoyed the vid. -H

Another lovely walk Henry, I'm always amazed how big the campuses are over there 😯 just to say always been a big fan of your natural commentary, recommend you to my partial sight impaired clients (day job when not in lockdown) makes time on a treadmill pass quickly like walking with a friend. Your comments about the quiet electric buses made realize that I have completely overlooked the impact electric vehicles can have on reducing noise pollution. Have you ever seen the Rivian electric trucks? Much better suited to outdoor adventures than Teslas. Be well.
I have seen those and they look amazing. We'll see how the perform. Hopefully well. I have started noticing how noisy our world is when I try to record nature videos and sounds for my other channel. It's surprising difficult to eliminate human sounds, even here in Montana. Take care. -H
