Thanks for the kind words and funny remarks everyone! It's so great to re-watch the run after 2 years I made it. Reminds me of the fun and horror I went through in making it, he he!
+Sasa Sasasa You don't have to time your jump perfectly like in CS, that's just some crap valve came up with to prevent bhopping. Just hold jump before you land. Airstrafing technique is also a bit different, but basically you gain more speed if you curve in air.

Excellent run. My favorite part of this run is when he just grinds his lightsaber into to Tavion during every part of the spin attack. I literally stopped the video and said, "WHAT?"
+Desmond Brown we jedi knight players call that "poke" where you keep the tip of the saber in your enemy all the way through the swing animation, does crazy damage!
On a historical note, it turns out Rogue Squadron never began their attack on the star destroyer. The ship blew up because of a chain reaction caused by lightsaber damage throughout the interior, which though seemingly random was actually precisely calculated.
Lord Vader, we have reports of an unidentified rebel jumping around the base. Some of our troops believe that he's the infamous Hunh Speedrun. He failed to stop when he hopped past us while we're asking for an ID. requesting backup!
Pterotactical considering how fast Kyle moves, I think I'd comply, lest he forfeit the stun function and simply ram the whole batton clean through my torso.
This is the original speed of Kyle Katarn, but Raven Software actually slowed the game down, so the people could see and understand anything of what's happening in it.
The Jedi Knight games are known for secrets and over complicated level design. I never finished the game either. Only made it halfway of that garbage level.
I was 10 when I finished it but in no way was it easy, hell no.... I got stuck at Artus Prime for a while, then again at Lanico Bay and in the Yavin Swamps. I remember it was my birthday when I played Yavin Swamps mission, I was so pissed that I literally started to cry..... yes, CRY.......
That Tavion kill never seizes to amaze me. Such skill... such elegance... I guess it's safe to say that it's still one of my all-time favourite speedrun moments.
Ben Olson I remember finding a way to glitch out of the map instead of finding that Damn tunnel. I really liked this game but the level design was crazy annoying sometimes.
this video has made me realize that Kyle is a better Jedi then Luke, look at those stunts. Also makes me wonder what speed running looks like from the NPC's perspective, if they could think they would be both terrified and confused
And then there's the Jedi Master trophy run by me: "OMG! I killed two enemies without using all of my shields and 90% of my health!" *Saves frantically*
