I recently started a New Game + as Kassandra, the character I play as and man, Alexios is better as Deimos in my opinion!

Alexios sounds like does not know he's being used and is blinded by his own rage. Kasandra sounds more like she does not care, she wants to be evil
I think Kassandra’s deimos sounds more far gone, like completely disconnected from emotions and her humanity. Alexios sounds more like someone whos rage comes from pain and sadness, thats why it was more believable for him to be saved than evil kassandra

Alexios is more of a very angry man, really intimidating in the beginning and at the end killing Brasidas.
Kassandra seems more of a sinister approach, and they handle her pretty well.
I think they're both good, but I usually play Alexios as the hero.

i personally believe that Alexios makes the better Deimos. his anger and growling is intimidating and in the action scenes, his bigger physique makes him scary.

See I played the game as Alexios and I loved him as a hero and yes he is intimidating and makes a great villian but Kassandra is scary on a different level, like not gonna lie, if a guy is a villian he is scary cause they are big and strong but you combine that with the looks of a woman and their tenacity fuck me thats way scarier. But i do think Alexios is cooler as a Villain but im parted cause i love him as the main character 😂

@@jansen4282 it's literally the other way around, Alexios has much more expression and emotion in his voice while Kassandra's voice is kinda flat and monotone in comparison.

I played through with kassandra as deimos. But I knew she was supposed to be the canon protagonist, so I thought I might as well look up what alexios is like as deimos. And MAN kassandra feels WAY more intimidating as deimos to me, also she pulls off the armor much much better than alexios does. But kassandra as deimos is just so vicious feeling.

Well they actually said that there is no canon for either Alexios or Kassandra. People believe she is because they wrote a book where she appears as the main character. However everything promoting this game shows Alexios as the main character. And the staff themselves say there is no canon character.
Kassandra as Deimos sounds like she's gone wayy too far, as if she has no chance of redemption, Alexios on the other hand feels like a more sympathetic and tragic character, like a kid trying to flaunt himself, harboring pain underneath.
@@nienneelendil6582 I'm an Alexios player myself but you're incorrect. Ubisoft confirmed that Kassandra is indeed the canon protagonist. Valhalla is the only game that doesn't have a confirmed gender.

Just finished the family quest line as Kass and I've been looking up her Deimos scenes to compare them. Personally, I prefer Alexios as Deimos.
I think it depends on what you like more - Kass' Deimos is more unhinged sounding (so, for me it makes the good end a bit more jarring because she's swinging from one extreme to the other). For me, Alexios as Deimos has a real undercurrent of emotional pain and I feel like it's a bit clearer from the start that he's unsure of what to believe - so the good ending feels more natural.
That's just my opinion on their acting styles though, both do a good job - they're just different interpretations.

I played as Alexios but he seems awesome as Deimos.
I love both Kassandra and Alexios as the protagonist and as Deimos.
The reason Deimos is so powerful is because the sword has powers and that’s why he is very strong too, that’s why brasidas didn’t had a chance
I mean, any sword that goes up your chin is gonna kill you, but I do think that deimos’s sword has a cool look to it, like it is burning.
I'm pretty sure both Deimos and the main character are low to mid superhuman and incredibly skilled besides that, sword probably has some sort of power as well but Deimos is still a massive threat without it.

Alexios as the villain is more of a brute but I find Kassandra as the villain more cunning and intimidating.
I like playing as Alexios and I think Kassandra makes a great Deimos though this was interesting seeing this view point.

I really wished they tried to humanize Deimos as Alexios instead of making him a killing machine beyond saving. The game never lets us empathize with him or if they made it like deimos thinks himself as a destroyer and does it because he thinks that's who he is then we would actually empathize with him but they made him into a villian

Alexios makes a better villain and is canon, but it’s almost as if Kassandra was originally supposed to be Deimos instead. The Deimos armor is feminine and the Cultist disguise you show up in is male.
It's male because you steal it from Elpenor, who's male.

Depend on the level. By the time i fought Deimos for the first time i was level 40 so its pretty easy

Alexios is all around a better character, both as an anti-hero and as a hero. Aside from sounding like he’s shouting in dialogues sometimes, I think his cutscenes have more character than Kassandra (I’m playing as Kassandra and hubby - as Alexios). I didn’t feel Kass as a villain at all, and she far too Whitney as a hero sometimes. Idk, I feel like Alexios did a better a job in both roles + Kassandra is far too tall that find it hard to romance anyone with her and at times she doesn’t even fit into camera in cutscenes (that part is hilarious actually).
Alexios and Kassandra are both great in both roles, but I prefer Kassandra in both roles for some reason. Must be because of how the voice actress does a really good job on her character.
It's also kinda weird seeing Alexios wearing eye shadow.
So I played this game and ended 2 days ago . I still do not understand that after we finish the main story then what was the point then to kill all the cultist members even we know that this cultist member is just no more than a normal enemy means fighting with Deimos we feel a proper boss battle . Or if don't fight with Deimos . But once game moin story is finished then there is no point to kill cultist member . And cultist member who were doing all things for so long was aside when we just finish the game

I didn't knew the character the player chooses becomes theolder sibiling. Until now I thought Alexios is the oldest , maybe because I choosen to play as Alexios in my playthrough few years back , plus I always sees alexios is older than kassandra.
I just don’t buy Alexios as Deimos. Deimos is a better character than the protagonist, and is better played by Kasandra. Alexios as Deimos is very Kylo Ren, I.e. not very deep or believable as a bad guy.

Zid Ziz a year late it seems but Deimos (meaning dread or terror) is the name given by the Cult to whichever sibling you did not choose to play as. So their real name is still Kassandra/Alexios, but they've been raised as Deimos by the cult

Everyone saying Alexios is better as Deimos in the comments admit you have a preference for playing as a girl because kassandra’s voice actor does so much better at portraying Deimos as psychotic than Alexios voice actor. Villains always require better performance to pull off and Kassandra’s voice actor is definitely the strongest of the two.
Kassandra just isn't intimidating. In stature or voice acting. Doesn't mean she isn't a good voice actor, it's just many people can't pull off an intimidating presence. You can tell the developers meant for alexios to be deimos, which is exactly the reason he's canon deimos.

Kassandra is amazing as both the hero and as Deimos. Alexios is fantastic as Deimos but sucks at being the hero. I feel like you’d be playing it wrong either way.
Frankly, I played the game as Alexios. Because the figure of a brother who saved his sister from the hands of the sect drew me more into the game.
I think Kassandra suits Deimos better. The figure of a strong woman, whose mind was manipulated by the sect, thrown down the mountain at a young age, and who fights all this in her mind, was more attractive to me. There is also a warrior older brother figure in Alexios who wants to save his mother and younger sister and destroy the cultists. She is also compassionate. Kassandra is a strong, wild woman who questions her past.
Although Alexios is amazing as Deimos, I still think he as the main character and Kassandra as Deimos should’ve been canon and the only option in the game.
