  • Ok I narrowed it down to 3 ingredients. I don’t think we need a bunch of stuff in today’s times. So I think I have come up with the world’s cheapest deer attractant.     To get it started without other criters eating it, maybe give it a first rain with a sprayer? And if you think acorn flavoring is better substitute that for the koolaid? Smash ripe acorns, soak in water a rew days, drain and use water. Lots of cheap alternatives maybe to try. Could even soak cracked corn.

    Perfect for bears. We are over run by bears here. In your mixture you might boil kari syrup for a while and add it to help hold blocks together.

      It’s illegal to shoot bears here because we don’t have many. You’re right that sounds like a bears would come to it. Also I have made those blocks before. The blocks are a lot more work. So give it to a lazy man to figure out the easiest way

    I use pretty much the same mix ill add grape juice powder up here in eastern Canada works like I swear by it

    Some people say using baking soda is also good

      I have used baking soda in some deer cookies I made years ago. But I can’t tell you if it made a difference. I have also heard that though

    Did you not have trouble with yellow jackets I tried brown sugar and Kool-Aid got a lot of yellow jackets around mine

      No I didn’t have yellow jackets on it but I did get a lot of coons along with the deer

      I have not seen that. I have on seen the purple grape KA. If I see it in the store I will get some. I’m about to make a few batches for Wisconsin
