My grampa use to hunt there on the lots until his stroke 2 years ago. I just took the lots over a month ago. Using corn, but been researching other ways to benefit the deers/ my hunt next year! I got everything through Tractor Supply. If you can’t find it locally, they carry a product called Buck Bourbon that has a strong molasses odor. Substitute the dried molasses with that if you can find it.

You can make a feeder that deer will basically feed themselves. Just use a 5 gal bucket with a lid and a chain. They will learn to come shake the chain to get their food
I have seen no mold issues at all. Ironically, I have tried to use Big and J as well as sweet feed for horses before and it molded within days.
