Great video my wife's family lives in LA lower Alabama south of Dothan . I love it over there you are completely right with everything you said .

Nice small set of disc harrows I've heard them called gangs . so you have a 4 gang harrow the disc blades are scalloped they cut better than the smooth ones. It looks like they are not adjustable they should work good for breaking ground you might have to put some weight on them for new ground with roots and such. I found some old railroad track and put it on mine , they are 18-20 thats 18 in dia. with 20 blades . The adjustable ones , you can set the angle for a more aggressive cut . For never broke ground It's going to take several passes with a light weight set of disc harrows looking forward to see what you get done . PS now that you got them freed up grease them when you get done discing to push the dirt out of the bearings every time . Your bearings are called friction bearings I like them better than the newer sealed bearing ones. Take care sorry for the long comment .
