Absolutely love the microing of Perseus around those catapults and hoplites--especially when you tunneled the hoplites around and they got hit by said catapults. :D
Awesome. I came here to see how this mission was in the original game. Just played it in DE and noticed that it had changed, but it was too long back to really tell how it was originally.
Accualy there's easier way to beat this mission. After crossing the river you need to move alongside the river to get to the upper side of their base and kill enemy hero.
Everybody knows that. The purpose of this video is to fight with red. I have a speedrun for this mission. I don't kill the hero. I convert it and delete.
Thanks. I know about the way, but other youtubers have uploaded it. Don't liki to repeat the same things and i offered something else. So my purpose there is to beat all reds.
I discovered this channel today, which is dedicated to my favourite AoE game, the first one. In fact I found it when I was looking for a campaign's scenario where In the map you started with a monk and had to retrieve an artifact. Getting to the artifact was the most amazing adventure I've lived in a RTS (and I played a lot of RTS games). I wonder if you know which scenario is that (it's not the Holy Man nor The Great Hunt nor Opening Moves). Your monk started alone, in a continental area, then you had to convert a boat, then you converted a catapult, and you did so many other things. For the life of me I haven't found out which scenario is that, although it is soooo good. Maybe it is some custom scenario in AoE Heaven, but I am not sure.
ruclips.net/video/drRACPZEmis/видео.html&ab_channel=Magnatio or maybe this one, but monk is not alone, but you have to convert the boat and there is a catapult in the left corner
@@Magnatio thanks for the replies. After checking, it was none of those. That one is a scenario where you start with a monk and had to recover an artifact through multiple dangers --lions, enemies, and the catapult part was very tricky. In the end you recovered an artifact on a hill. Maybe it was about Moses, but I am not sure. But that scenario holds a special place in my videogaming heart.
You can complete the missions in less than three minutes. Simply go over the first left river crossing and then past the priest at the edge of the forest and you will reach the temple with the victim that you are supposed to eliminate. Done
i know it, that is the point, in this video i show how to destroy his army with your initial forces. there is another video where i kill the hero right in the beginning.

Aoe: yamato empire
Also aoe: hero perseus
When it comes to that campaign, I just sneak across the shoreline and kill Xerxes quietly, but this guy took it to a whole new level.
That was the purpose of this video! to fight with the red!
I used just the cavalry to make a lion trap and lure izumo to them. Didn't need to use any attacks lol.
Awesome. I came here to see how this mission was in the original game. Just played it in DE and noticed that it had changed, but it was too long back to really tell how it was originally.
Original version is harder if you choose to fight with the enemy

@@Magnationah ah you convert it and then fight the town with it!
Is there a reason you killed those deer? Or did you just feel evil that day?
I do not remember)
he killed the dears cause for fun makes us laugh
Or maybe so they don't attract lions.
@@markoradivojevic5717they run away from lions though
Interesting strategy! I would always use my calvary to kill the catapults, never thought about using them to kill other enemies ;)
You learnt pretty fast in death match to use enemy catapults against their own city once you see their siege infested bases lol
Thanks.

Funner is to convert the enemy hero and let him killed by is own man.
Or delete him.
In the DE version i transported a priest, converted izumo leader and then made him battle the crocodile kings
Yamato empire of the rising Sun & Coha & Sanagt
Virgin sneak along the shore
Vs.
Chad Dr. Liversey walk straigh to the enemy headquarters
Genius.
Wow you're great! :)

There's an easier way to beat this mission if you're interested. But great gameplay!
i DO NOT HAVE THIS CAMPAIGN WHERE CAN I FIND IT

Thank you. Already Done in another video.
Yes. all 8 missions are completed.
You only have to kill the hero at the end; not the entire base!

Oh :) nicely done! Love the AoE videos!
Lol no matter what i do i can not beat this
