I find it perplexing how easily people seem to overlook Catherine's involvement in the various antics of the Ace family throughout the years. Even if one were to entertain the notion that she wasn't the primary instigator behind it all, she still played a role in every deceitful scheme and publicity stunt that unfolded. Getting divorced (if we believe that) doesn't erase her responsibility, particularly considering she has never acknowledged or apologized to those harmed by their actions.
I saw a divorce lawyer say that they've had to tell multiple couples that they literally can't *afford* to get divorced. Between car payments in both their names and those cars not being paid off, mortgages, lack of individual assets, lack of liquidity, credit card debt.... sometimes you literally can't afford to get officially divorced. I think based on the financial, uh, ✨️troubles✨️ they have gotten themselves into in the past, this applies to the ACE family couple. I don't think they can afford to get divorced, even if they want to.

You can avoid that without making these documents public. (Not just) Here you're officially married after having a civil wedding = authorities have to give you permission. They keep an eye on your relationship status. If you used to being married they'll make sure you have a divorce certificate. If there's just the slightest doubt regarding your divorce you aren't allowed to marry officially again until it's clarified. You can have ceremony, but as I said it wouldn't be a legal marriage without the civil wedding. I think it's pretty invasive to make such things public.
