    Ms. Tuula! This is gorgeous! I will be making this soon! 🥰. Have u named the stitch yet? I have a few suggestions! If u don't mind that is! 😉. I saw someone post about it in Reddit and it was gorgeous too! I think you should call it "The North Star Stitch". Or maybe, "Stars & Stripe's Blanket" Just a thought, but you know what they say about opinions... Everybody has them, 😂. Thanks again for all your amazing videos! As long as u keep making them I, and all my yarn art friends, will keep watching! Thanks for tackling the hard stuff! ❤️

      I'm sorry I don't understand the question - what to turn up?

    • @TuulaMaaria

      Yes, it's possible to do any design with this technique, just like with the tight pixel crochet. You could follow instructions and chart for a design and just add the chains in between pixels.

    Thank you for this tutorial! I just came across your channel and I love it!! Your explanation is very easy to follow! I have a question and hope you can help me. I have started a C2C afghan before seeing this video and I would like for the colors to match at each end but I have no idea how or when to start decreasing. Right now it is approximately 57 inches wide and I have 75 rows. I hope this makes sense.

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  10 месяцев назад +1

      I haven't used anything for the edge, just stopped crocheting. But you could make a border of single crochets or especially reverse single crochet look good.

    How to make a rectangle? I haven't done a complete regular C2C yet? Ice rather do this version that's more lacey.
    Thank you

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  3 года назад

      Towards the end of the video, at 8:45, I'm showing how to decrease, so to make a rectangle you first start to decrease from one side and continue increasing on the other until the piece is big enough.

    Can't wait to this for my daughter. I've got 7 oz/294 yd of Lion Brand 'landscapes ' yarn. Would that be enough for a shawl?

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  Год назад

      You could make a mini shawl with that amount. For an average size in Aran weight like that yarn is, you would need around 900 yards. But the great thing with this is that since you start at the tip of the triangle, you can finish any time, or decide to get more yarn if it isn't big enough. Good luck!

    What yarn and what size crochet hook are you using? I love this , very pretty

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  4 года назад

      The yarn is basic wool in double knitting weight and hook size if 4 mm. But that's quite thick for a shawl as it is just to show the technique. You could use finer yarn and hook 3.5 mm.
