    Love the texture on this. I’m not a beginner but the decrease is a little tricky; lol, my washcloth isn’t very even. I’ll keep trying tho & perhaps I’ll buy the written pattern. Thank you for the tutorial😊

    I love c2c's and graphgans! This is a nice twist. I started one with some ice cream self striping and I am doing chain 3 to start and have no curling so far. I feel like it will need a border of some type though. Love it! Thank you💕

      JoJo M when I wrote the pattern, I did find that also, so wrote it with a Ch3. Great minds think alike 😀

      I think I need to update it to ch 3 instead of ch 2, I started a self striping one, and if I ch 3, it doesn't curl as much.

    Just curious, what would be the reason for doing C2C Alpine Stitch vs the regular Alpine Stitch (right to left), which seems nicer looking than the C2C.

    Hi Jolie,
    Wonderful videos.
    I’ve been following your Alpine stitch corner to corner video, but don’t know how to make it into a rectangle blanket.
    I’ve reached 30 inches both sides. Any help you could give me would be most welcome.

      you can make any c2c pattern into a rectangle by working the decrease on one side and the increase on the other side. just continue this until the long side of the rectangle is the length you’d like.

    Love this pattern! I am starting my decrease on a SC row that’s on top of an Alpine row that begins with three DC (not 4 like this video) and am not sure where to put my first FPDC. After I do my DC3TOG, I feel like I should put my first FPDC between the 1st and 2nd FPDCs two rows below (not before the first FPDC). Is that correct? Thanks!

    • @karenpeters6132
      @karenpeters6132 4 года назад

      Maybe I should do the DC3TOG, DC in next ST, then FPDC between the previous FPDCs?

    • @jolieknotscrochet3550
      @jolieknotscrochet3550  4 года назад +1

      You will need to start at the row in the video, so going one more increase row, then SC row, and begin your decrease as shown in the video

    In your written pattern for the decrease it says to use the chain 2 as the first partial dc, but in the video you don’t. Is one way better than the other or does it not matter?

  • @madelinebresler
    @madelinebresler 4 года назад +1

    When you ch2 and turn, then make 3 dc, aren’t you sort of adding an extra stitch on that side, since you end the row with 3 dc in the last stitch?

    • @jolieknotscrochet3550
      @jolieknotscrochet3550  4 года назад +1

      Ch2 won’t count as a stitch so you won’t work into the ch2. Alternative you can Ch3 and dc2 times and use your Ch3 as a stitch

    Looks lovely but unfortunately found it very difficult to see the pattern in that light coloured yarn.

      Sorry about that

      I think the stitches are easier to follow in a light color yarn however I would have preferred a different color background. For me, the yarn and the background sort of blended together making it difficult to distinguish the stitches.

      End with 3dctoghter ?

    Tutorial is not very clear at all. Something doesn't work right. At least give us a stich count the first few Rows. 7th start it doesn't seem even as it
    grows
