    I found your video very clear and easy to understand - thank you!
    Just as an fyi......In the intro to the video you talk about section 1 being Increase on Both Sides, but at minute 3:35 of the video the title slide for Section 1 states Decrease on Both sides. The titles for Section 2 and Section 3 are correct.

    Hi. I’m a new subscriber and SO happy that I stumbled onto your videos! I also went to your blog, absolutely love it! Thank you for all your time and effort, for beginners like myself it’s a great feeling to find someone who makes sure the stitch itself is throughly understood just as much as the terminology 😊 Thank you again and I hope you continue to put out these wonderful wonderful videos! ❤️ 💫

    Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. Is there a formula for making a specific size rectangle? Warm Up America (WUA) uses 7"×9" rectangles. How do I know when to start decreasing for that size?

    ty!! enjoyed the tutorial! do you find that there’s a bias/skew with this stitch and how would you minimise it? I realised that I cant fold my blanket perfectly cos its slanted on the diagonal.

    This is designed more for a blanket. If I kept the same hook size but a smaller yarn, it should work for a summer sweater, right? I’ve not worked this stitch before.

    Hi, Im doing a small lap blanket in Malabrigo Rios its a 10 Ply Worsted yarn but knits up in either Lt Worsted or Worsted depending on needle size. Malabrigo state Knit Gauge: 18.0 to 22.0 sts = 4 inches Needle Size: 4 - 5mm and Hook Size: 5.5-6.5 mm. Ive seen some examples using #3 Yarn and a size 6mm hook to get nice drape with the Moss stitch i.e.not too tight, but not loose either. So with the Malabrigo Rios should I go up to a size 7mm hook?

    Thank you but stitches are so small it’s hard to see where to put the hook, how many rows did you do before changing colors

    Hello! Is it possible to use the C2C moss stitch to build a graphgan picture or would the picture look fuzzy/wonky? I don’t want the holes that the double crochet creates x

    • @ignorantcosmos9526
      @ignorantcosmos9526 2 года назад +3

      maybe try the modern c2c stitch that uses ch5, ch2 instead of the usual ch6, ch3? the holes are significantly smaller in modern c2c squares

    i’m trying to make this for a temperature blanket and i’m having problems figuring out the stitches for a rectangle, how many should i be doing if i need 365 rows? would 160 increasing 45 increase on one side decrease on other and 160 decreasing work?

    • @thelanes6448
      @thelanes6448 Год назад +2

      I’m not sure whether this is relevant but I watched another RUclipsr doing a different corner to corner. I’m also making a temperature blanket and she suggested you work the increases both sides (increase/increase) until the width of the blanket is what you want. For example, if after 100 rows, I’m happy with the width of the blanket, I would do 165 rows increase/decrease and then 100 decrease/decrease. From what I understand it is almost irrelevant how long your middle section is. Just carry on working the rows until you have the width and then work it out from 365. Hope this helps. If you want the link to the other video let me know but she wasn’t making a temp. blanket! Hope this helps

      I had a problem finding the first ch 1 sp. I used a stitch marker at the beginning. As the blanket grows, ch 1 sp is easier to find. 😁

      I couldn't find it either...but after 3 restarts I am in love...I had to figure out how to count each row of SC increasing by one...then I could see where those chain 1 spaces were!
