That's an impressive buy of Louis L'amour books. Louis L'amour has written crime stories on top of his Westerns and some are in those short story collections and may be a few in the volume 4 you have. I have read every L.L. Western and you have some gems in there. I rarely find L.L. books at thrift stores. But, I have books that I buy where the cover is damaged but I buy them anyway. I never pass on a Ken Follett book. Oh my goodness, I bought All The Pretty Horses this week. Nice Book Haul. -James

I think someone in my family had The Cobra Event because it is so familiar. I never read it but I remember seeing it on a book shelf in my house constantly.
Nice! I read it many years ago, I remember it being about a virus or some communicable agent…sort of a thriller novel.

Star Trek: Vulcan's Glory is a great pick up. It was written by DC Fontana who was a writer on staff for the Original series, The Animated Series and The Next Generation. The Vulcan Academy Murders is another highly regarded Star Trek book. You snagged a couple good ones there. Boris Vallejo covers man! That dude did awesome cover paintings. Very cool!

Dang I had no idea that Louis L’amour had written so many books haha. I had seen an interview of Stephen King where he said his favorite book is Lonesome Dove so I picked that up recently but haven’t started yet. Watching this makes me want to hurry through my current read so I can get to it lol! Nice haul man and I’m interested to see what you think of the Star Trek books
Yeah, Louis wrote a ton of books, over 125. Crazy. yeah Lonsome Dove is on my list for sure, as I have only heard good things. Star Trek is completely foreign to me, but I will definitely read and review in the future! Thanks Man!

Just went through my inventory and I can proudly say I have all 17 Sackett books. So looks like I have to read those next year!
I've got a lot to say. I just started reading Cormac McCarthy all the pretty horses last week. And I thought to myself... This book is a little challenging and I want something easier. So I went with Bentley Little The Association. And it happens to be exactly what I'm looking for at the moment. Hope you dig those. I love seeing the Elmore Leonard love. I just picked up that copy of the maximum bob u showed off a week ago. Also. I feel like we have the same taste in books. I'm always a sucker for those Louis lamore books. The Robert b parker Spencer novels are fun and easy reads. An author you should check out is C.J BOx the Joe Pickett Series is a lot of fun.
