This was a pretty good one-shot what if. I like the idea of Trunks getting SSG though peace sense the God Forms are more calm base transformations. What if suggestion: What if Gohan was born with God Ki? (It can a counterpart to this what if sense both Future Trunks and Gohan are similar to each other.)
I feel like this what if should have been combined with the goten being like Broly one. Trunks being on top and then goten catching up quick would be a cool concept. Possible future what if?
If Goku and Vegeta didn't have the experience of fighting Zamasu, I think they would lose the tournament of power. Those encounters made them stronger. And Goku was pushed to his absolute limits (breaking his own hands after a kamehameha against Zamasu) and didn't unlock ultra instinct yet. It would be like going to the elite four without fighting the 7th gym leader.
I'd have to disagree. Goku did no training in that arc besides learning the mafuba from master roshi that with the fact Vegeta admits they got no zenkais meaning that arc power wise was pointless for Goku. Vegeta on the other hand did train and get stronger so you got me there he might lose to topo but there is a chance he could come out on top with some help.

Okay I like the idea of the god forms being emotionally opposite of regular super saiyan but I’m often told that god forms DONT need a calm mind. And there are many scenes that go opposite to the calm mind thing as well. So truly I’m not certain how the heck those forms work.

So SSG is just base form with no energy leakage and perfect ki control. Ofcourse you probably need a calm mind to have perfect Ki control, atleast until you have better mastery.

Because you were born with God ki doesn't mean you can tap into it. Goku in his base does not have God ki but when he taps into it he transforms into super saiyan god. So yes trunks is born with God ki but he doesn't know how to use it which is why he couldn't defeat the Androids. Gohan fought the Androids because he actually experienced Trunk's power. Last I explained at the end of the video I already know how god ki is obtained

Base increasing was a line mentioned in the movies but never in the anime so it isn't Canon. This is proven in the future trunks arc. SSJ3 Goku and SSj2 future trunks are evenly matched. This shouldn't in any way be the case if Goku absorbed god ki in his base a multipler that puts him stronger than Vegito. Stack that with ssj3, means future Trunks would have somehow needed to be millions of times stronger than a goku who never learned about god ki. Next is Vegeta training him. Vegeta would have gotten stronger but not Trunks which I mentioned. Training with someone weaker than you doesn't produce results and since SsjG is so strong Vegeta would never be realistically able to catch up to that multipler before beerus arrival so trunks could start seeing results.

The thing with kid trunks and vegeta doesn’t make sense yes while in ssg trunks wouldn’t have massive gains but training in base which I feel like they would he should be massively above his ssj self in base form

Training with a heavy sword would not get you to God level and there's nothing to prove it can but there is proof he didn't get that strong. After training with the z sword he struggled against Dabura someone only stated to be as strong cell then the sword broke so that proves he was only perfect cell levels at that point. Doesn't match up against a form said to surpass Vegito and with your theory it's stacked on top of a 100-400x multipler
