All that remains is dream, trying to change an illusory world. Maharishi was a guru, used every trick to destroy egos, every way to keep people close.......gave them a fantasy of improving reality.....which is perfect as it is. This is now in the religion stage, the shadow.
I think you’re right. I’d suspect they either try to hide all the silly things or put them away. But I’m sure they still have the silly superpowers promised like flying and turning invisible, otherwise they wouldn’t have anything to try luring people to pay more money and get more involved.
I have nothing against the meditation or the bliss it has, but . . . World Peace doesn’t seem any closer now (Jan. 2022) than it was in 1975 when Maharishi first inaugurated the “Age of Enlightenment” - and within 2-3 years even claimed at one point that it had been achieved in a publication the TM movement published then called Age of Enlightenment News, as well as the videos used in the “Block IV” Siddhi initiation ceremonies. In those videos it was said that the siddhas had “captured the 🕊 dove” of world peace. But the “Timor Genocide” that began in 1975 with Indonesia’s invasion and occupation of East Timor was still going on during this time, and would continue until 1999 . . . For the TM movement to put so much work and attention on scientifically validating the physiological changes that take place in meditation to simultaneously be so sloppy when it comes to validating the “Maharishi effect” when it comes to world peace - we’ll, that is bizarre!! I wish it really did have a positive effect in creating such a transcendent utopia, but if it does it apparently isn’t very powerful or pronounced. In fact, world peace seems sadly more distant than ever. But that isn’t a strike against the meditation, just an observation on the lack of any perceived benefit to the human condition in general.
I agree that all of humanity has fallen. Every race, color and creed has some fringe that thinks they have it all figured out and slam the next. Love the God our Creator Forgive one another, including yourself, Quickly. Then look for ways to serve one another. We are going home soon.
The director of this film…must first practice transcendental meditation…otherwise he will keep producing confusing versions of the TM movement…just like he has done in this small clip…the small tiff and the global empire…all of it is an imagination and assumption of this director…no such thing exists in the community itself…I say this with full authority and clarity as I am both a filmmaker and a TM meditator….film making can work on assumption…that is where both the power and the weakness of filmmaking lies….the director must understand this….only then will he be able to present the movement with clarity…right now it’s showing a very wrong perspective…and the only way to understand the right perspective is to do TM yourself…if you keep talking to people about TM then it will only lead to confusion…remember the story of the five blind men and the elephant….the truth is much more larger than the perception of the human senses….

The less you have to offer, the more gold you need to make it look appealing
Bingo
You have got that right.
Mad hatter's tea party. Beautiful roses though...
Huge sums of money, personality cult and huge egos, what can go wrong?
That’s what the Americans did to the Maharishi foundation, and that’s the typical comment that someone completely ignorant about the topic would make.
@@MrMaximino92 How is it ignorant? You yourself said ”the Americans” did this.
Those guys seem to spend a lot of time at the party hat store getting some pretty strange garb..

What ever happened to that guru who spoke out?

Thanks you for refreshing the topic. I was always wondering how things are today. Seems like Tm had gone a bit quiet after the exposure no?

The corny clothes are to throw up. Was that the director too?
You didn't really see the film, because you didn't understand it at all.
