I am thinking why has there been no outlay of capital to modernized these machines. The British installed them well over 100 years ago. Gotta love the attention to safety. On a serious note, those are some tough working conditions.
Its weird but they prefer to work on the floor. Even though its bad for your health and your joints. Most of these guys will be crippled with arthritis when they are 50.
If you look to European or US factorys, they basicly have the same machines but clean and the workers have gloves or clean hands. I really dont know why these islamic pople like to work in such poor conditions? Clean your shop first and get some gloves. The cheapest gloves for 20 Cent will do their job for at least a week
