its only working that well on dummies cause there is the wall right behind them, making the dust devils stay in dmg range, in open field / boss not standing near wall it doesnt work at all i figured this out by accident like 1 week ago already :D
Unfortunately there is a limit of 15 DDs at the same time, so now it all comes down to whether the proc from Andy and double downing on DoTs with creeping death will outperform normal WW. Because let’s be honest, barb is falling behind this season big time 😂
classic WW DD will for barb still be a winner I would say for sure 😁 still an interesting tech. I think with Razorplate and Tough as Nails we could afk farm helltides or something 😂 making it worth it in this way

Today I finally managed to masterwork 2 items 😂 10 to go or how many haha. So far having the most fun with just my basic WW DD, but testing FoF now. Less overall damage over rumble and EQ, but QoL of not standing in earthquakes is pretty nice. Would have been easier testing and making all the builds if this was a full time job and not a hobby 🙈 or if the damn blizzard let us reset MW by 4. Have so many builds theorycrafted waiting for testing, but the grind is killing me 😂

@@iTenkai tyrael + disembowel would for sure giga outperform in single target. To be honest? Might even try to roll both and swap Harrogath in vs council if uptime on shouts would be horrid and just compare the performance there 💪🏻
I understand you probably don’t want to go and redo the masterworking on arrears but you definitely overshot. Might be worth it though, since the same would go for your shako version? Just doing the calculations off of my head but 60% on the pants, 2x 20% from boots/shako and amu…. You are at around 89%, so 14% overcapped for Ult. And the actual rolls are all a bit higher. It’s at least worth “for real” calculating, as an extra crit on the Ult damage would certainly be a dps boost. Since the plan is using starlight, if you could get some invigorating fury tempers, the extra healing synchronizes greatly and might be a viable way to get more fury. Another viable option might be using dodge, you can get a decent fury pump comparable to the lightpump, and you probably don’t need to go crazy all out like the deathblow spam builds do, between the dust devil aspects you have, the pants adding some,…. You can overcap the max amount of dustdevils by a lot going all out. For reference, I got 1 invigorating fury temper no crit, starlight on a ring, and the heal from iron skin, and that’s enough to feed my 65 fury a pop rupture spam habit. At around 2 booms per second, so that’s 130 fury per second. With a few crazy tricks to make room for strength rolls on every piece of gear (accept for yen’s boots which have all stat), also possibly giving up a paragon board and glyph so I can max out strength glyphs, crimson fields (more strength than non-unique weapons),…. Well l’m hoping for 4K strength after masterworking. (Using charge, Warcry and leap, bear clan on a ring. Yen’s blessing gives me uptime on iron skin. So I moved all cdr rolls/tempers from gear to 2 aspects, creating room for more strength). And leap and charge are buffed with rend (last skill on the bar so I get the x-damage, and can “activate” the 4 skillpoints in core skills).
All this tripple masterwork crits, thats just impossible for me to reproduce 😑. There is a 0.8% chance to get these stats! Any build that requires this to function is practically unplayable for 99.9% of the audience ☹️. Besides that it might be worth it to look into Upheaval Andariels with Rupture ^^
@iTenkai yeah, much more × zero is still zero 😆. The average reset costs for a single item is over half a billion gold already, not even counting the mats 😬

I actually am working on a build without devilish, but conceited + elements aspect instead. Just trying to record and count WW dust devils, if they can alone reach 15 DD cap on the screen, which is the cap or if we just lose too many DDs by not playing devilish
Oh yeah, on other classes for sure. What is funny for barb though is that the dust devils will keep procing it and spawning themselves without even playing 😂

@@DarkWidget to be honest, because Andariel on its own isn’t very beneficial for barbarian as we cannot buff it, not really. We don’t have any passives like rogue, glyphs, close quarter combat etc, most of our buffs are to physical damage, I don’t think many people bothered trying it 😁 the biggest problem being that dust devils have 0 LHC so they cannot proc it, otherwise it would likely become a strong option.

I mean I put my mythics on everything I level just because it makes it easier and quicker. Also, shouldn't the dust devils be able to proc andariel? And I'd imagine that if you knew the combo from any other character someone should've realized it sooner I feel, but maybe it's just me 👀😂
Infinite DD works from me, but they don't do enough damage. Tried the build with really good gear, but without full masterworking gears .. T6 works, T7 is a struggle .. Damage for T8 way too less on my build. Build has potential imo, but DPS seems way too low for T8 runs.

Wouldn't Wrath paragon (critical strikes generate 3 fury) glyph be highly recommended to maximize this life regen / fury regen / infinite dust devil tech? Loving your content!!
These aren't bugs, they're just the way the powers interact with eachother. So hopefully that means it doesn't get nerfed

I used ancients oath with GA cooldown and triple crit shako to steel grasp everything all the time it was also dope

Can also use 2 handed mace with concusson and fists of fate and use umbral tried that too. And navigate paragon board getting as much str as possible

I'm trying the Tyrael + Disembowel Planner and it does not work very well. I cannot go over T7 and Pit 80. I have most of the items with 1 or 2 GA.

Switch starlight on neck n you get 60 resources back. Instead of 40
But you don’t need that much to proc it

My dust devils do 5-10 million. Not bad since it's AOE and casts double 100% of the time and 40% bigger. Still sucks vs bosses though

Yeah just tried this it doesn’t work. Starlight and andariels didn’t proc unlimited dust devils from shouts for me so it must be something else
