@@elcobra98Jack has 4 wins, more than some champions and more than probably 95% of riders in the history of the premier class. So I think it’s fair to say he’s done pretty well in MotoGP
@@chadwells7562 He's been given way too many good chances, and thrown them away. I like Jack, he's cool and I'm not saying he's talentless, but truth be told, four wins don't make a consistent rider. When they decided to skip Moto2 (and losing the Moto3 championship) we were told he was the new Rossi/Márquez/whatever and that he should not be wasted; four wins with two bikes isn't much of a prodigy for me. And regarding the 'most champions' thing; say whatever you want about Mir, but he won the championship fair and square: no, he's not on Marquez/Fabio/Pecco level even with a good bike (or at least that's my opinion), but the dude was smarter than 19 other dudes and got himself a title, and he's a champion, no way around it. It is what it is, sometimes you're given a few more chances because you're a bit more profitable marketing-wise, like Jack. But a few days ago I kinda lost a bit of respect when he claimed he was finishing above Fabio (a 18M rider), when Pedro has been almost consistently finishing ahead of him despite being a Rookie and having the GasGas (say whatever you want, but a non-official bike will never achieve as good as the factory team, call it a hunch but that's been the truth for at least 25 years). Jack should either move to Yamaha, Honda to help re-develop them, or go to SBK. He has a potential championship-winning bike and he's been consistently getting mediocre results.
@@elcobra98 You’re quoting things I didn’t say my friend. I said he has more wins than 95% (this is a heuristic I didn’t look at the big ol book of GP stats) of riders who have made it to the premier class. I definitely didn’t say most champions or denigrate Mir’s win. Mir is a great rider (and probably better than Jack) and anyone who wins the ‘ship deserves plaudits regardless of how ‘dominant’ they were. Has Jack thrown away his chances? Yes. He’s an excellent rider but just not good enough in this current crop. I think it’s time he was deported to WSBK. He’s had an excellent MotoGP career though. 4 wins, 10 podiums, 2 factory rides, 10 seasons, and enough money made to never work again before he hits 30. Frankly I've gotta agree almost completely; he's done some stuff in his time, I just think (since 2015) that he's gotten way too much praise for stuff even Aleix Espargaro could do with shitboxes like a CRT (back when Jack wasn't winning races ofc) and his 'punishment' was often to be promoted to a better/competitive bike only to underperform and complain over the media like he did last week (with the Quartararo thing). I feel the same thing happened with Ianonne; he's a great rider, but he's being overrated by both teams and the media as if he's riding a Honda rather than a Ducati; in 2013 he finished behind Aleix, riding a prototyped superbike lol (he got injured iirc but still). And they're saying that he's "the only rider Márquez feared in Moto2" like Marc hasn't already kicked his ass for at least five seasons (counting since he was riding an official bike).
You got the tyre measures all wrong. 125 for front tyre is not a diameter, it's nominal width of the tyre. This is basic knowledge about tyres. 70 is the profile of the tyre, it doesn't mean it tells you the height of the side wall. It tells you the height from the rim to the highest point of the tyre in comparison to tyre width. Rest of it you got right.
important to note that not only does the power change going from a 400 to a 1k, but the entire bike changes. Riding an entry level bike is not at all comparable with riding a "big" bike. Same goes for everything else.
Very nice video, congratulations. I think that a video where you do the same thing with the other classes will be a good idea. Maybe you could also introduce new fans into motorcycle racing.
Moto need to start advertising like f1 to get more recognition. I’ve also realised that there is also a language barrier that sets a lot of viewers off and that is a hand full of them don’t know enough English which as a international fan is a bit off putting. Although the main concept is the race itself, these days a lot of fans and viewers are more interested in the riders themselves.
I assume most moto 3 riders have ridden litre supersports. They're not as good as moto gp bikes but you'd be wrong to say the jump in power would not be manageable.
Same opinion here, but imagine just watching Moto3 and then straight to MotoGP... it will be very strange. First for the dimensions of the bikes, second for the number of overtakes and duels

Hey everyone, small error. MotoGP uses Michelin not Pirelli! My bad :)

But everyone knew it was Michelin. Simple mistake.
Jack Miller straight from moto 3 to moto gp it can be done and has been

I think privately most riders will have 200hp + bikes anyway...
That's why a step up from Moto3 to MotoGP is nothing unusual and also possible.

You can do moto3 and then motogp, Miller did and Bowlingball Binder did.

how a bout a moto3 video?
Why does moto3 have 1 cylinder and moto2 have 3?
Shouldn't moto3 have triples, with moto2 having twins?
Lmfao 😂
Not in 2019 but in 2018 they swapped to 3 cilinder Engines
Motogp uses Michelin
Just forget about all the other 600/1000 races......
Darryn Binder made it. But failed

125, 250, 500 was the golden age of MotoGP.
The classes you mentioned where never in MotoGP...
10 min? I can do it faster, it's a prototype bike racing with different manufacturers for frame and engine, it's the category below moto gp
Wrong
I think the Tyre Brand Mistake was done intentionally 😂
